Another lying rat off the sinking ship

roll eyes Said in support of the worst US president in history. crazy
Trump & Pence - Unlike every duo before them, there's NOTHING redeeming about either. thumbs down

Another lying rat off the sinking ship

You do so 24/7. Look in a mirror.

Voters are scoring at home. They have been for over 3 years.

Perhaps the MPs will.

RE: Flu season...

They don't want hospitals overwhelmed with flu AND Covid-19 patients.

Republicans FINALLY admit, that Trump conspired with the Russians

For me, there is no suspense. I already knew that Trump is an idiot.

Republicans FINALLY admit, that Trump conspired with the Russians

I listened to all the tapes they posted attached to the article.
It certainly wasn't even 15 minutes, let alone 30 hours.

RE: Trump kicks dog

The Constitution got violated by Trump worse than the women who had their cats meow grabbed by Trump.

Sean Hannity thinks Trump is crazy (but only lets on behind the scenes)

If he knew you, I'm sure he would like you also M.

Republicans FINALLY admit, that Trump conspired with the Russians

Obama gave Iran their money back, if they agreed to allow nuclear inspections.
Dummy Trump then followed that with rescinding that deal. So now, they keep their money
and we no longer get to do nuclear inspections. What an idiot !

RE: Together again...

Thanks for answering my question. I've seen a lot of tribute bands advertised. So, if a band makes money doing the songs in a performance, they pay nothing. But, if they record that gig and sell it, they generally pay 50% of the proceeds off the top, not the net ? So, they could record a few new songs of their own and play concerts mostly of other people's music and make a good living. That's close to being a parasite. laugh

RE: Together again...

What are the legal requirements for tribute bands ?
Do they need permission from the original band to do their songs ? What fees are generally paid ?

RE: Trump kicks dog

I'm guessing Trump's bats have more to do with being in a belfry.

Thanks. But, I only let you know about the article itself.
The author did the real reporting.

The Epitome of.... "be careful what you ask for"

If so, it will be like a 2 for 1 sale. laugh

Recall, that the last guy before Trump, who got in, losing the popular vote, was GWB.
That didn't work out well either.

One of the greatest speeches I've ever heard, at a time when it is most needed

Except that Hillary had no intention of becoming a tyrant and the guy who slipped in despite having less than the popular vote is a tyrant wannabe. So, not so smart in practice. thumbs down
It's an antiquated system and needs to be either eliminate or at least replaced with a compromise of some sort.

One of the greatest speeches I've ever heard, at a time when it is most needed

It's clear, that you view things as black or white, rather than being able to understand things in a broader more encompassing way.

He held my attention.
Regardless, I didn't state that Biden is an exceptional orator.
I said that the speech was one of the best I've heard.
If you aren't motivated to listen to it, read it.

Obama tried to make those changes and ran into an obstructionist republican dominated Congress.
Nonetheless, for the terrific job he did, over 170 of the experts in the field of presidential history determined him to be the 8th best president the US has ever had. Those same experts (conservative & liberal), based on 50 different presidential criteria, voted Trump as the worst president in US history. Indeed, none of the judges (even conservative) voted Trump better than 3rd worst president in US history. So, you are welcome to have your uneducated opinion. We all are. But those people who actually not only know American history better than us, but indeed, are the experts in that field of study , collectively have judged both presidents in detail and found them to be at opposite ends of the spectrum with Trump being the worst ever.

Next time watch the WHOLE speech fully awake, before making judgement.

One of the greatest speeches I've ever heard, at a time when it is most needed

Seeing how Trump is OFFICIALLY the worst president in US history and Pence adds little to the ticket, of course, Joe & Kamala are a far better choice. Trump was given a chance and he turned it into the worst presidency in US history. The country is far worse, than what Trump inherited. It's time to make a change for the better. It's time to give a person with life-long experience with bipartisan public service the helm.

One of the greatest speeches I've ever heard, at a time when it is most needed

Every person is an individual, who should be judged on their own actions.
George Wallace held onto his earlier beliefs while running for the presidency.
Joe has obviously changed his beliefs before he was selected and served as VP
under Obama.

George Wallace was never VP.

RE: 75 days

Hopefully, you are right, and I also hope that no country will never again consider a candidate near as bad as Trump ever again.

One of the greatest speeches I've ever heard, at a time when it is most needed

d - That's a very good comment. Naturally, there would be some different nuances, that would vary with the individual, but many of the main goals would be consistent.

One of the greatest speeches I've ever heard, at a time when it is most needed

Mic - Joe Biden has grown as a person a lot as an adult. Trump is still in his spoiled me first infancy.

One of the greatest speeches I've ever heard, at a time when it is most needed

You really didn't listen to the speech, did you ?

He did mention China and our current dependency on them for manufacturing.
Biden pledged to have manufacturing of Covid-19 supplies here in the USA instead of China
to reduce our dependency upon them.

A lot of the blame has to go on Trump. Trump ignored over 10 warnings about the impending pandemic, some of which came from his own staff. He then denied the virus's capability and misled people about both it's severity and longevity. He did not follow the pandemic response roadmap. Prior to this he laid off much of the pandemic response team. He broke the law, by giving irrational medical advice, as well as touting insane cures like injecting disinfectant. Rather than create a central supply chain, he left states on their own to bid against each other for supplies, creating price soaring and shortages. He has urged states to open back up far too soon, creating a huge second wave. And now he is urging schools to open up too soon, which is likely to create a 3rd wave. Yes, he IS to blame for one of the worst responses in the world. Over 170,000 American dead. All Trump voters and supporters have to share somewhat in that guilt. The rest of us KNEW something like this was likely.
All Trump cares about is him. He doesn't care about the average American. He should never be elected to ANY public office.

One of the greatest speeches I've ever heard, at a time when it is most needed

Sure. I would be happy to explain it to everyone.
Riots happen because people feel there is no hope otherwise.
The people revolt in response to unfair treatment. That's the way it has always occurred in history.

With new leadership hope will be restored, especially when the election brings in people with more understanding, compassion, and a drive towards better equality.

One of the greatest speeches I've ever heard, at a time when it is most needed

There will be several. Also, do not miss the one between Mike Pence & Kamala Harris.
