Police stations will not be eliminated en masse. Instead SOME of that money will instead fund social programs to better deal with issues that the police are not good with.
You call 911 with an issue and based on the answers to their questions, they send a specialist for that issue, rather than automatically sending police.

However, I'm pretty sure the Black Lives Movement will be pleased, if blacks are treated more like equals and not unjustly killed by police and police wannabees, like George Zimmerman.
If they get too out of hand in the far future, they will stop being supported by the majority. For the time being and for the near future, I think their main stance is justified.
Probably. Most of America has shifted their view on now supporting BLM. The videos of black men being killed by police with excessive force has made it clear to the majority, that something constructive needs to be done to improve the situation. People who still don't see it, are refusing to open their eyes.....and their mind.
k - I'm in no way approving of her actions when in her radical 20's. But perhaps she's paid her time and grown as a person, while still retaining motivation for equality without breaking the law. I guess time will tell.
She was in her 20's when she was arrested. She spent 16 years in jail. While in jail she earned her masters. Since release she's been an activist for several causes, but has not broken the law. She's worked as a teacher since her release. She's in her 60's now.

Because of differences in locations and services, I have accounts in several banks. As long as you don't go below a minimum balance, there's no fees to do so.
One bank is literally within walking distance to my home. That makes it very convenient for deposits of checks and also MAC (or window) withdrawls of cash, which is very useful for always having enough change in all denominations for business purposes.
