sg - That's what most Americans will do, especially the sane ones. Indeed, anyone who would STILL vote for Trump after the worst performance in history by any US president can't be bright at all. Indeed, they have been willingly duped by a foreign adversary. Their participation in the harming of the USA by attempting to elect someone so inept after witnessing him divide and harm the nation could be considered somewhat treasonous. At minimum they need education to help them better resist brainwashing and to better choose sources of information in an effort to better discern lies from truth.
We are already a great country. We were long before Trump. However, it would be much better, if both parties worked together to make things better for the citizens. Congress has passed over 400 bills to do so. However, Mitch McConnell has just sat on them, not bringing them up to any votes in the senate. That is horrible "lawmaking". He and his cronies are not on the side of the American people. They should be voted out ASAP. Luckily "Moscow" Mitch's term is up. Hopefully, he will be voted out in November. He's had a stranglehold on the senate far too long.
Well, perhaps in Oklahoma. Unfortunately, there's a number of states that are already on the increase for infections. They rushed back to open up in response to Trump's urging them to do so.
Biden is generally well liked. You may recall, that Biden was picked as the one who would win, long before the primaries began. But, I'm sure you are right. That a lot of people will be voting for Biden, because the alternative is horrible, really terrible, the worst president in US history.
h - In all honesty I don't think Biden would be anywhere near as good as Bernie. Bernie would help bring about significant improvement. Real change. Biden will do much better than Trump. He will likely be an above average president. Certainly a lot better than Trump or GWB. Trump really has been the worse US president in history. He has really divided the nation, managed the pandemic horribly, and sunk us deeper in debt, while giving rich cronies a huge permanent tax break, making a recovery that much harder for the average American. Trump hasn't even had good intentions. He just used the position to enrich himself.
I don't think most teenagers are really democrats, nor republicans. Some are influenced by parents, some rebel against parents. However, I think the teenagers, who punked Trump, were fed up with his lies and how he has divided the nation. Either way, after the worst performance by a president in US history, he can't help but loose a significant number of votes. The relatively low turnout within a state that he handily won in the last presidential election may be an early indicator of decreased voter interest in him. If the voters in that state were truly dedicated to Trump, they would have showed up. It was a first come, first serve situation. They even made arrangements to accommodate overflow. One can invent all types of excuses. But, Trump was very disappointed with the turnout. The bottom line of this blog, is that he got punked by teenagers.
Very funny GB. We ALL know that Trump wouldn't have gotten into power without Putin's help. His social media warriors were very busy during the last presidential election. It's that cycle again, isn't it ? Indeed, are you one of Putin's online 'generals' ?
Yeah, for the rest of you, I admit, I have no idea if it's tick tok, tik, tock, or toking tips. All I know, is that Trump counted chickens long before they hatched, and even teenagers know better than that. The kids punked him good.
Even the smarter 1/3 of the dumbest 2/5th of the US population are wising up. He's likely to get a lot less votes this time around. It's expected, especially after the world witnessed the worst US presidency in history, his impeachment, and are anticipating his awaiting trials. How long did he actually think he could pull the wool over the public's eyes ? While he tried to make it so, this isn't Russia.
He never had a workable plan to benefit anyone except himself and his large donors. That's what it was all about - enriching himself and those that enriched him. He rewarded inept unqualified people (like himself) with government positions, because they were sizeable donors. He gave PERMANENT huge tax cuts to the rich. He doesn't care about anyone, except himself. He should never be in ANY political position. He's nothing more than a conman, an extreme narcissist, and a corrupt liar. His election was perhaps not only the biggest US mistake, but arguably it's biggest embarrassment. Most of the country is counting the days, until he is forced out of the White House.
I hate to be the one to break this news to you. But, you're supposed to be retired. Apparently, your lungs agree.
My suggestion is to work from home and see if your many past clients need anything else. Then get a referral fee if that new work involves chemical treatments.
Much to my chagrin, my parents smoked as I was growing up. When they did, I used to close my bedroom door and place a damp towel at the bottom to keep the smoke out. Apparently, it helped prevent me from getting lung problems. Eventually they gave the smoking up.
Barr has proven time & time again, that he is nothing more, than Trump's lying lap dog. Trump has created a sewer of record criminality with each appointee.
Did anyone forget, that Pompeo is under investigation for his own corruption ? Remember that Pompeo had Trump actually fire an IG that was investigating him. Nixon would be so proud of the Trump administration. What a circus of criminality.
N - working on getting re-elected is one thing. It being the most important aspect of the job, indeed, the only important thing, is quite another thing.
GB - like I said, if you start it, it inspires others to behave as badly.
I didn't say ALL republicans are corrupt. However, it's clear, that there are a larger number of them, who take lobbying $$$$ and then vote against the majority to side with the source of the lobbying $$$. THOSE ARE CORRUPT.
You really twist things. The democrats didn't want a several year court battle with the White House over the subpoena. That's why they didn't subpoena Bolton. Trump would have claimed all sorts of stonewalling techniques. Republicans, except for Romney, would have ignored all evidence anyway. They proved that.
Less than 5 months until the election of a new president & VP. Will the new VP be Abrams ? Harris ? Time will tell.
