Former national security adviser John Bolton claims in his forthcoming book that every decision President Donald Trump has made in office has been “driven by reelection calculations.”
Bolton’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, shared the remarks Friday in a news release promoting the book, which details Bolton’s year and a half working for Trump. The president fired Bolton in September.
“I am hard-pressed to identify any significant Trump decision during my tenure that wasn’t driven by reelection calculations,” Bolton writes, saying he was often “astonished” by Trump’s singular motivation.
Bolton, one of the most controversial figures in American foreign policy, described Trump as a “president for whom getting reelected was the only thing that mattered, even if it meant endangering or weakening the nation.”
The former adviser also argues in the book excerpts that the House committed impeachment malpractice by leading a trial focused narrowly on Trump’s transgressions with Ukraine, and that the House should have also explored similar foreign policy violations Trump has committed elsewhere. It’s currently unclear what other incidents Bolton has in mind.
“Trump’s Ukraine-like transgressions existed across the full range of his foreign policy — and Bolton documents exactly what those were, and attempts by him and others in the Administration to raise alarms about them,” the Simon & Schuster news release states.
But Bolton wasn’t willing to speak out against the president when it really mattered: during Trump’s impeachment trial. At the time, Bolton threatened a legal battle if Congress subpoenaed him and ultimately did not testify in the proceedings. Reports during the lead-up to the impeachment trial alleged Bolton’s opposition to appearing was rooted in a desire to distance himself from being implicated in any crimes.
Bolton’s book, “The Room Where It Happened,” is scheduled for release June 23.

The worst president in US history has already harmed the USA many ways.
He was impeached and should have been removed from office.
Hopefully, the American public will not again be fooled by his lies and misleading statements and the Russian online propaganda.

Leftists ahead of release of Bolton's book where he's due to say bad things about Trump: "Bolton is an honourable man who has served his nation and his words should be believed!"
So many people who have worked for Trump are hired with grandiose descriptions and leave with Trump lying and trying to assassinate their character and ability. Trump must have a record in failed appointments and hires.
Bolton right or wrong does have a dedication to his Country. Trump is a traitor.

One of Trump's many weaknesses, is that he can never admit, when he is wrong, and he is wrong a lot.
He has terrible judgement and gets some of his stupid 'ideas' from ridiculous sources.
So, when anyone points out to him that he is wrong, he fires them for 'not being loyal', when the reality is,
that he can't handle being wrong, or have anyone disagree with him. When you own your own business,
you can get away with that behavior for a while, until you go bankrupt. Not so as US president. Your flaws become exposed for the world to see. As we have seen with Trump, bad decisions and lack of foresight can cost lots of lives. Other presidents are smart enough to hire smarter people and then apply their advice.
Not Trump. The idiot actually thinks he's a "stable genius".
He is neither stable, nor very smart. But, he's smarter than the fools who he cons.
He also much more evil & criminal than them too.
The only way to make sense of Bolton’s behavior is to recognize that he actually did intend and expect to testify. He wanted to testify, but wanted to appear to be forced to do it. Perhaps he thought that, as a reluctant witness, he’d be less open to being caricatured as a disgruntled, discharged adviser, and his credibility would have been enhanced. So he insisted on a court order to appear before the House.
When that didn’t happen, Bolton began virtually begging to testify: He announced before the Senate trial commenced that “if the Senate issues a subpoena for my testimony, I am prepared to testify” without any court order at all. During the trial, perhaps not serendipitously, word leaked about how Bolton’s book would establish a quid pro quo linking Ukraine security assistance to Ukraine helping to smear former vice president Joe Biden — and about how Bolton hoped to testify.
But Bolton made one fateful misjudgment. He overestimated the character, honor and patriotism of Senate Republicans. It would have taken just four, joining with Democrats, for the Senate to have issued a subpoena. But only two voted to hear Bolton testify. A Yale-educated lawyer, Bolton perhaps calculated that Senate Republicans would live up to their oaths of office, and to the separate impeachment-trial oath they took to do “impartial justice.” He assumed they would uphold the Constitution. Sadly, he was wrong.
For that miscalculation, both he and the nation — but especially the nation — have paid a great price.

Bolton's book has already sold in thousands around the world, it will likely be the final nail in Trump's coffin.
Make America Great Again--------DUMP TRUMP
real corruption lies in Congress
As an example, here is NRA $$ from 2019;
Republicans $247,363 98.95%
Democrats $2,587 1.03%
This has resulted in many republican congressmen voting against sane gun control laws
and thus, more US deaths from the usage of guns outlawed in other nations like Canada.
The man is void of any credibility
Mentally, he's more like a spoiled child.
In the words of Bugs Bunny "What a maroon "
It's obvious you have a passion for hating Trump...I think we know this.
