RE: Why Obama deserves a little credit for the Trump Boom, and why the Democrats will never admit it

Yep Trump is the new saviour of America.laugh laugh
Shame about the skyrocketing debt he is creating to make good his "Promises" Not long before the USA is Bankrupt or recedes into another recession.

RE: "Crazytown" - "Trump off the rails". from Bob Woodward's new book, 'Fear', out in a week or so

What makes me laugh is that the fervent Trump supporters all, to a T, follow the exact same path. That all books that have been written about how dishonest Obama/Clinton etc etc are absolute truth, and any book saying the same about Trump are absolute liesrolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
I am amazed that even those with an iota of intelligence fall for this, I can understand the diehard Trump supporters as they are obviously uneducated and easily lead, but the intelligent onesdunno
Strange that someone who is an expert in suing people, Trump has yet to sue one person for pointing out his "fake" lieslaugh

RE: Drain the swamp ? Trump has polluted the swamp with toxic waste

For once I actually agree with LindseyJones, we should not call President Trump a moron.

This man, who says he is highly intelligent, actually thought it was appropriate to attack the USA Union leader on LABOUR DAY.
Now I am not a great supporter of unions, but even I can see the total stupidity of attacking their leader on a day that celebrates the people who actually made America great in the first place.

So, we must stop calling Trump a moron, It is unfair to associate real morons with someone so unbelievably stupid.

RE: Wipe that mole off your face...

Never thought of a mole as a birth defect, just something that some people have, I have hundreds of them, it would take years to remove them all laugh laugh

RE: New Car...

So many offers these days that it makes sense to buy new, especially in the US where cars are so cheap. I recently bought an ex-demo Mitsubishi, 2,500 kilometres on the clock, which is nothing, still get three years full warranty, and I got a years insurance included. The big bonus is that buying an ex-demo saves thousands off the list price. The secret is not to rush, take your time and keep looking every day, something always pops up.

RE: It's even worse than originally suspected - Trump is in trouble with the law !

Strange that the Extreme right always find excuses for Trump, they never question anything, always find some way to blame a Dem, I find it hilarious, that so many are taken in by the lies and fake stories.
Dems know that Obama was not perfect, they have often pointed out his mistakes, but the Republicans seem to be blinkered when looking at Trump.
One simple question, why has almost every country had constant news headlines about Trump? They never did that with Obama, or even the Bushes, unless it was regarding a war. Maybe because those outside the "box" can see the reality dunno

They even try to post pictures of Children behind caged walls during Obama's Presidency as if that was okay too, they NEVER mention that the numbers were a fraction of those detained under Trump, or that as soon as Obama found out about the separation he stopped it.
They are . so happy to support their hero, they can't see the damage Trump is doing to how the world views the USA.

RE: Excellent take on the Mexican Parent-Child separation issue

The Republicans used lots of fake news against Obama and other Democrat leaders, I guess tasting your own medicine is payback.
However, I agree, the fake news being published by various media is distracting attention away from the awful treatment of Children in the USA, and the lies issued from the white house are getting lost in the melee.

RE: Excellent take on the Mexican Parent-Child separation issue

"Republican voters are standing by the Trump administration's policy of separating families at the border, a new poll shows, despite the intense backlash and controversy surrounding the practice.

A majority of Republicans (55%) support the separation policy, making GOP voters the only listed party, gender, education, age, or racial group in favor of it, according to a Quinnipiac poll released Monday.

Meanwhile, most Americans (66%) are opposed to the separation policy, while just 27% support it overall.

A majority of Americans (58%) stand against President Donald Trump's plan to build a wall along the US-Mexico border. But most Republicans (77%) are again with the president when it comes to this matter.

Similarly, a CNN poll released Monday also found a majority of Republicans (58%) support separating families at the border, but showed most Americans (roughly two-thirds) are against the policy.

Based on these polls, there's a sharp divide between Republicans and the rest of the US when it comes to immigration.

With that said, a majority of Republican voters (61%) agree with most Americans (79%) that Dreamers, or immigrants who were brought to the US as children, should be allowed to remain in the country and apply for citizenship, according to the Quinnipiac poll.

Meanwhile, Trump is being broadly condemned for the separation policy."

RE: Divorce

I think divorce is caused by a multitude of reasons, each unique to that particular couple, I do not believe you can align one reason for many divorces.

RE: The Online Disinhibition Effect

Everyone is different, unique so trying to place all in one box is never going to give a truly definitive answer.

RE: alcohol is not good

Alcohol, like most things, is not a problem if used responsibly, in fact a large consensus of the medical world, suggest that a glass of red wine is very beneficial, and god for the heart and other areas of the body, my father has had a glass of red wine almost every evening since he was 55 years old, this coming June he will celebrate his 100th birthday.

RE: HOPELESS

Many people fail exams, the secret is to view the exam as a path of experience, now you understand the exam format better, so you will have an idea which areas are your weaknesses.

So now, study, build up your weak areas, and retake the exam, success is never an easy path professor

RE: Socialism

I was referring to the "Professor" in the article not you, your assumption was totally wrong. doh

RE: lovely eyes

Maybe for the first few minutes, as we create attraction from our eyes, but once that initial meeting has passed,it is the mind that is or can be, the most beautiful part of the body!

RE: Shot Dead!....

Such a loving and charitable blog, it must be wonderful to be a christian and cheer when a human dies.

Doesn't it say in the bible to love thy neighbour.

Your comments are no better than those made by the very people you are laughing at!!!!

RE: Shacking-Up!...

But seriously, Rizlared, you do well to have your eyes tested for eyeware and then check with your local grade school to sign up for third grade reading classes... you will be surprise how better off you will be in reading blogs.

The ability to READ is important and good for effective communication and learning.

You have proved my point, your uncharitable retort shows you are bitter and uninterested in any comment which disagrees with your own opinion. The fact that you cannot write clearly is hardly reason to accuse others of an inability to read!!

As an English teacher I can assure you that whatever your motive behind your blogs and posts, the underlying message that comes across is one as stated by myself and others, so perhaps you should learn how to write more clearly in order to stop people misinterpreting your words.

It is you who perhaps should learn to open your mind not just selectively read.

RE: Shacking-Up!...

What a load of rubbish. People were living together far before than any god was invented.
Everything said in the OP shows someone who is still hurt from past experiences, get over it and get a life would be a far better idea than becoming a born again christian.

RE: Another Depression Blog

Never understood why people in some countries use the word "fall" when there is a fine word that describes this season, its called Autumn!!
Autumn in the area of China where I live is wonderful, warm sunny days but drops to cold or really cold at night. Today for example, I went to a local mountain to watch a Martial Arts contest. The temperature was mid eighties, now, at around 7:30 pm it is just 50 degrees and will drop further.
But tomorrow is another warm sunny daybanana

RE: true love where are you?

Maybe you are looking too hard, life experience has shown me, that if we stop looking so hard, and lose that desperation, then love finds it way.
We all (usually) have an image of our perfect partner in our mind, but rarely does the person we actually fall in love with have anything to do with that image.

My impression of China, part two

Hi Angel, I tried to send you a message but you have blocked China, if you want further info please contact me here at Cs and I will try to help, Riz

My impression of China, part two

Hi, your concerns are sensible, Shanghai air is not that clean as I found when there for the day, but, the government is really trying to Clean up the air quality in the major cities, where I am now is a small city by Chinese standards, only 1.5 million people and the college which is 20 mins outside of the city lies at the foothills of some beautiful mountains and hills, here the air is crystal clear, in fact better than many western places I can think of, so if you were to travel inland I think you would find the air quality fine.
The food is a different matter!! in large cities you can buy western food but here in Chizhou only local foods, hot and spicy most of the time, I enjoy most of this but find the meat strange as although it is cut to mouth or bite size, it always contains a bone and you have to chew around it to get to the meat, then spit the bone out, not something we are used to in the west, so I tend to stick with vegetables, rice and noodles, the egg fried rice and fried noodles are wonderful and of course the various teas available, but again not the same as in the USA, very watery green tea, in some places I have found red tea which is closer to Ceylon/African tea.
Fruit is readily available and the apples are delicious as are the kiwi fruit and bananas.
One word of advise, if you do come to China, don't eat from the street venders until you have are used to the diet here, you need to have the right bacteria in your stomach to deal with street food else you will sit on the toilet for daysmumbling but once your tummy has acclimatised, then you can try the street food which can be really delicious, fresh river fish in spicy sauce, deep fried snake and pink sausages to name a few.
Oh and remember, outside of the main cities, very very little English is understood or spoken and all signs, menus etc are in Chinese, a good electronic dictionary is a life savergrin

My impression of China, part two

To be honest, I am overwhelmed by the country, in all my travelling I have never seen or experienced such kindness and genuine happiness, Chinese people are always smiling and laughing despite their lack of money or material things, such a change from the sour expressions you see back in England.

RE: Scientists Believe Your Cell Phone Is a Death Trap

The uk is one of the biggest cell phone users in the world per capita, yet there has yet to be one case of illness directly caused by mobile phones., people become ill for many reasons, so we look for excuses rather than seek the truth.

My First impression on arriving in China

It is certainly a wonderful experience, The image I had of China formed from newspapers, TV etc, is nothing like the reality. This is an impressive country. Thank you for your commentswave
