I love Mexicans ........I have had a great time in Mexico always ... very nice and funny people who are decent and very family oriented , I cannot imagine who could not love mexicans . except the drug mafia of course i don't think we like them much. saskia

Respect and tolerance for difference in cultures is important. We too have patterns of behaviour that are unusual to other cultures, and are tolerated by them . Cultural diversity is what makes the world an interesting place to live in, a person praying because of his faith in his shop as you wait should be appreciated , we are all gods children , we all share the planet earth, we all have rights of belief, and ways of worship. We all have the right to run our business as we care to . If you choose to go purchase items from a shop that is open fully for service then go , it is your right , just as it is his to take his time to pray. Thanks half a bag for your comments , it is true that people in the West don't often know about the lives of these girls. They don't realise if they had the opportunity to develop as they have the potential to do things would be so different . In the time of the shah i was teaching women in Iran , empowering them to be independent self supporting and advancing themselves in life to a better standard of living. All that changed with the coming of Khomeini , now women are back on track pleading with the current president for rights once again , progress cannot be denied them . They are fiestier than anyone can imagine , in getting equal rights. Its a sad thing ...... muslim /arabic women cannot be supported more rather than ridiculed by westerners who have little idea of what life is really like for them. Saskia
I don't know of people scared in Bahrain. The king gives a free house to every bahraini....... its the only middle eastern country you can get a unemployment benefit from. Its the only country you can be employed and they tell you not to come to work and you still get paid. Does not matter what sect you belong to you get the house. If the king was not here , do you think these people would get a house? Or be able to get a job without actually working ? Would mothers get the baby allowances they do now? It would be like most african countries when the white ruling classes left allowing the locals independence and then everything turned to chaos. OK YOU CAN DELETE ME NOW SCHAATJE ..... saskia
