Hugger dont give up, i have been on dating sites for 6 years , and willing to travel to anywhere , and I have as well. In 2 weeks I am going to Los Angeles to meet up with someone , and it will take 18 hours to get there by plane from where I am, so there are ladies who will and can do that too. I pay my own expenses as well, just realise at our age the opportunities are far less thats all. I have a friend who at 75 and married an 83 year old man . Best place to meet people is at church, why dont you try going to different churches of your denomination , but in different areas. Why dont you throw dinner parties for 3 couples ( existing friends of yours) or a bbq , and tell each couple they have to bring a single woman of your age group, so at each party there would be 3 single women there you have never met. Its like networking. My girlfriend found her husband farmer shed been dreaming of finding like this. Best of luck saskia

As a friend you could help her , take her to a counselor . She has low self esteem so she is not rational. She is lucky to have you as a friend, so help her further , she might get killed by him.

So keep out there because you don't want to miss her, or the job opportunity. While you have nothing to do, go and work for a charity, you will meet people and be helpful to people in need , this will build up your self worth immeasurably.It will help in networking , volunteers always make great prospects as employees.
In the days when the bible and the koran were written, there was no scientific development to safeguard us against diseases, pork was a harborer of many diseases it is true. It is different now and pork is safe to eat, in fact the raising of pork is more strictly controlled than any other meat. The koran says do not defile your body, but so many people smoke in the Arab world, smoking is not safe, and they do it...pork is now safe and you wont eat it ????? Pork is not the only place tapeworm can be contracted from, why dont you tell us about all the other things tapeworm can be contracted from ?
vyoleta, its a common phenomenon, with older guys these days , they have become committment phobes due to easy access ( whether it be real or imagined) of quick instantly gratifying internet dates. We older ladies who desire in truth the security of a committed relationship are left floundering with men who quickly disappear off to find new bedtime mates as gullible as I sometimes am , who are readily available and also believing this could be the one.
morganuly..........thanks for your reply, yes the pictures are all of me , within the past two years . My blogs are inspired by my own experiences in life and dating . I am not afraid to expose myself and admit to what I have done, Because I do have shame, I do have embarrassment, I do have pride. I am normal . I feel love , never hate, and mostly I have compassion for people. To tell of my experiences helps me purge myself, I often follow a relationship, because it is bad, just to be able write a story about it after....... if it was normal, it would not be funny. We dont necessarily put our values aside to go out with someone who for whatever reason is not suitable for us as a companion, but should we continue to tolerate someone just because we dont want to be alone then we would be doing that. Depends how long we do it for. After you recognise she is no good for you , if you continue with her then you are wasting time on finding someone who you could value.
He is the one trying to claim land as his, let him pay for the survey........if you have one send him a copy. Its amazing as a woman and a land owner how vulnerable you can be, after my husband died, I had similar things happen to me, Some men see you as being weak if you are alone, and think they can take advantage of a woman with property, you need to be strong, stand up for yourself, and let him know you will not stand for it. Send him a lawyers letter, That can be effective, then they know you are not a pushover.
