I don't doubt Jesus existed , I also found it interesting about the speculation that there were more than 4 gospels. That the church in the early days destroyed them because they wanted to manipulate peoples beliefs. I wonder what light if any you can shed on that idea? saskia

There was a guy who used to do jobs for me sometimes , after he had finished his regular daily work. He was a great worker, loved his little family dearly and was a great father to his little girl twins and the sone from his wires former marriage..His wife was very demandning and wanted this and that better than everyone else , because he loved her so much he always tried his best to get her what she wanted, she wanted a better house so he worked even harder . Then one day she told him he was not good enough for her and she was leaving him. He took a gun and shot her dead that night as she slept. He's still in jail after 20 years his kids who loved him so much still visit him , they are in their twenties now . Men need to be careful also of not giving too much to an ungrateful woman who is purely selfish . saskia

I agree with you sweet for you in all you say. We are all subject to human nature. Some people do not think about when their own end her on earth and therefore dismiss the importance of family having little regard for their own mortality, or how it will be at the end. I do wonder how it will be for me sometimes , and just know for myself that i would like my lovely family beside me. I do everything I can to preserve the wonderful relationship we have as a family so that it will be so. I think for some of us it is important, for some not, but for many at the end there will be regrets , and thats who i feel for, those who did not make good choices in their ives regarding family matters and then end up dying alone. There is no use offering such a thing to those of faith. It is not a matter of us being non believers or doubtful of the existence of some kind of deity that created us, it is a matter of respect for those who have a belief, such as we do , all be them differing to ours, dare we be arrogant enough to deny a god exists ???? i don't think we should , for in our hearts we have the right and sense to believe as we will . for each of us is different , we will have our faith or lack of it as we please , at the end of the day , are we so different as the man with faith? we have a level of acceptance within ourselves to find contentment with. , as individuals , that is what is important. Is it your responsibility if others are atheist ? what benefit do you get by denagrading atheists ? Why do you care if some people are atheist? Do you imagine yourself to be better than an athiest? Why do you even write this blog? Is it to prove you are better than some , just because they think differently than you? Did not God if he exists create us with the freedom to think as we want to? There is very good reason for people not to believe in God....... Nor want to be involved with the whole faith thing......
