I have a bit of OCD, so you can imagine what it's going to be like for Mike if he doesn't fold the towels correctly?? My friends and family often pick on me because they open a cupboard and it's like a retail display.
...He will get used to it, or maybe I will just adapt to not having everything lined up perfectly.
You will find that special someone, K. I believe in you!
My goodness... YOU blog as I leave?! I have waited so long for this moment!
What works for me is honesty and integrity, an ability to communicate is very important. And an acceptance that as I am over 40 I have some rather ingrained habits. They aren't always good habits.
Oddly enough, I don't believe in stepping forward with your best either... if someone likes you for who you are, then... that is ideal.
Redwinebluesky ... Thank you for your well wishes. I had no idea, that an exit report was required. But yes, this could certainly be defined as a success.
Iotaoo... Any feeling of sadness for a loss is reflective of what something has meant to you. I am not referring to me in this instance, but more a feeling of loss for something you may have had in the past. Perhaps you simply miss being in a relationship yourself.
Iotaoo... Interesting observation. Perhaps I was on a 'picnic' because I had already met Mike before we ever made acquaintance. After I met Mike, I certainly did become more of a guest. I was biding time until things were settled.
I live a busy life, so my visits were random at best. It's been an intriguing year for me. I have completed a Diploma , done several other courses and ... I have been training staff in the city once again. I have renovated my home. But mostly what I have done is waited. I have discovered that I don't wait as patiently or as graciously as I should have.
Johnny_Sparton ...we met on the blogs here, Johnny. So it's an affirmative to that. Last year, I booked a tour of the Imperial Cities of Europe and then another tour of the UK/Ireland. With the second tour, Mike and I discovered that I was coming to a place that was within half an hour of where he resided (Blarney Wool Mills) so we met for coffee. The rest is history...so to speak.
Your time will come, Johnny. You will find that person you are searching for too.
There was an earthquake here a year or so ago and I experienced that... the room shook, the noise was deafening and I was expelled from my chair... I was at work during this, so my instant response was to check on everyone else. Although the guy I was working with simply shrugged his shoulders and said , " Oh well...it's just an earthquake".
