I spent hours losing myself in Funk and Wagnall's. However, my father who encouraged my use of them, also purchased another three sets of Encyclopedia's. Not the misspent youth of most individuals, but I do remember those books fondly.
Blogging is interesting... There were sites once for avid writers, but they have changed the format of sites now and the blogosphere isn't what it used to be.
Garage sales were invented so you could see how the other half live, weren't they?
I can tell you that Mike is going to be in Australia in 44 days, 21 hours, 39 minutes and 21 seconds. So I will say things are going very well. How is everything with you and Cat?
Therein lies the real tragedy, Z. We have homelessness in every city in the world and poverty... and yet, there are Seasonal Homes out there that rarely get used, but they are considered fashionable.
Our major cities are quite expensive... Beach front locations in those cities are incredibly high too. Sydney and Perth are the most expensive cities to live in. As you head out to the country regions it gets cheaper.

I smiled when I realised where Knightsbridge was. My Grandmother lived opposite Hyde Park.
Calliopesgirl Is honey wine called mead? I went to a place in South Australia that makes that... it was gorgeous when it's served warm.
Welela When I think of Bjørn , I think of Abba... It's all in the name. Until now, I have never heard of anyone called Bjørn other than one of that band. So I am curious if it's a more common name in your country.
I hope you enjoyed your walk.
Mimi1973 You MAY indeed. I have no idea why, but people seem to give me bottles of Baileys EVERY Christmas and it's not my choice of drink. Soooo drink up.
Years ago, before it was a popular import here... it was quite expensive, I bought several bottles of it... and used it in cooking. mmmmm... it was quite divine.
Welela... I haven't had a drink since Christmas. So it's not something I normally do ... well not as much as when I was younger and more sociable. But I do enjoy a red wine. And I am blessed with the fact that I don't get hangovers as a rule either.
Thank you for stopping by. Do you have plans for the weekend?
