Scotland, my experience

JeanKimberley ---Thank you for coming to see the photos, Jean. I believe by the time I finish posting my photos of my trip... I will almost on a plane for the next trip at the rate I am going. smile

Ummka ---Hello... gracious I thought you had found a man, when I looked closer...it's your nephew. laugh Thank you for your comment.

Z---That would ultimately rock. Imagine the photographic opportunities... BUT alas, I always thought daleks were terrifying... I am not sure I could handle it. blushing

morgen90210 --- No need to apologise, I understand. A friend of mine returned from a trip about two years ago and showed me photos of Edinburgh... in that moment, I wanted to see what he had.

RE: Connecting Singles

Well said, India.

RE: unhappy

Positive and happy thoughts will usually invite others to join you. Don't see this as everything is wrong... See it as an opportunity to make changes in your life.

I love challenges. I highly recommend you look at it as a challenge and climb the next mountain you see. smile

Scotland, my experience

It wasn't just about the castles for me. I went to a dinner show in a Welsh castle... the singing was incredible. In Ireland I went to another dinner show and again... the singing was incredible. Edinburgh ... well the views, the different stages of buildings, the museums... spectacular.

But thank you for the recommendation.

RE: My Top 5 Annoying Habits!

I smiled when I read this, Patrick.

1. In Australia people will stand on the left and be 'overtaken' on the right. We use an escalator the same way we drive.

2. I agree, it's dangerous...

3. Personal space--this one is interesting. If you live in a city you have a tendency to stand closer to an individual , than if you live in the country. (So the research indicates)

4. I haven't noticed I was abbreviating anything... yet. However, in future, I will pay it mind. I promise to try my very best and speak the Queen's English...

5. Listening is an art. Not everyone is artistic.

Georgiapeachgirl ---No need to be jealous. Just start planning your own trip!!! smile

GoDaniel---Thank you and you are very welcome. I enjoyed sharing.

KNenagh ---I am sure YOU understand my fascination with Edinburgh... it's a city you just feel the need to see! I am so glad I got to experience this.

Scotland, my experience

happy369 ---Indeed it was. Simply stunning even.

CailinCallaghan --- I can understand that! I have a friend over there who lives next to these lakes and he has invited me back to stay with him and his partner. I didn't get a chance to catch up with them... but can you imagine living there ALL of the time?

Kittyjoy --- You are very welcome... it's incredibly serene. I have been to National Parks in other countries, but this whole country is like one big park.

Scotland, my experience

Chocheta ...Thank you. I wholeheartedly agree, the country is beautiful.

Welela... it's half a world away and yet... it captured my interest for years.

Dedovix... Thank you.

Scotland, my experience

...and yet, it's so close. It's truly hauntingly beautiful, Mike.

RE: I have been scarred at this late stage of my life

flirty cats meow ...Oh I do like soft little furry kittens... batting

RE: I have been scarred at this late stage of my life

RE: I have been scarred at this late stage of my life

How very gracious of you Mike... I can understand why Irish men are so sought after. smile

RE: I have been scarred at this late stage of my life

...For you, Mike

RE: I have been scarred at this late stage of my life

... well Ireland doesn't know what air conditioning is!?!?!

RE: I have been scarred at this late stage of my life

Mike, I bet you spend your nights lying awake thinking of the sounds of Australia. grin

Non... I was okay, until... I got to Ireland. laugh

RE: Rejection....We've all been there...

Enkidu ...No-one was aware it was you. Calliope was polite with her response. I rather appreciate honesty in an individual.

Perhaps you should have tempered your response and suggested a friendship??

Ireland

Solo, I am sorry you haven't been there. It sounds like you would have fallen in love with it as much as I did. I went to a few shows over there...one was in Dublin and it rocked.

This is where I went to the comedy/music show in Dublin.

I have been to Oregon too... you reside in a beautiful state.

Ireland

I appreciate you sharing them with me.

Except, on my next trip I am going to spend more time around Cork. I have debated whether to fly into Dublin, but... it makes more sense for me to go to Cork. I went to a few live shows in Ireland and they certainly know how to entertain.

It says you are in Oregon... is Ireland like a second home for you too?

Ireland

Solo... They are brilliant! banana

RE: Worth a share Perhaps

Spectacular scenery, Non.

RE: Calcutta Chromosome 2 : Is the Color of God Green?

For awhile, I thought the photos were ones you had taken...but they are not . smile Beautiful photos nonetheless.... I love the tranquillity in the top photo... and I love the photo of the botanical garden

RE: Meeting Your Ex

If there is too much water under the bridge, there is no point in jumping off for a leisurely swim. I am sorry things didn't turn out well for you.

RE: Killing someone?

No to both questions.

RE: Cretins and other nasties

Glenn, you have arrived onto the blogs full of vitriol... There is a saying that you attract more with honey, than with vinegar... I am sure you are familiar with it.

RE: Meeting Your Ex

I believe if you have shared a significant history with someone, that it's nice to be 'friends'...but awkward silences like that does not bode well.

RE: How Do you "See" yourself?

Flawed , but realistic. grin

Ireland

Calliopesgirl ---They are both beautiful. bouquet

soloseeker ---No, I didn't. I have heard of the Temple Bar though, it is quite well known.

Ireland

rapturecapture--- I enjoyed it enough to be planning my next flight... which isn't too far away. I am just organising a few more days off work, so I can book for the end of October. smile You live in a beautiful country.

Bogart_1960 ---Thank you.

RE: Calcutta Chromosome 1 : Wait Until Dark
