JeanKimberley ---Thank you for coming to see the photos, Jean. I believe by the time I finish posting my photos of my trip... I will almost on a plane for the next trip at the rate I am going.
Ummka ---Hello... gracious I thought you had found a man, when I looked closer...it's your nephew. Thank you for your comment.
Z---That would ultimately rock. Imagine the photographic opportunities... BUT alas, I always thought daleks were terrifying... I am not sure I could handle it.
morgen90210 --- No need to apologise, I understand. A friend of mine returned from a trip about two years ago and showed me photos of Edinburgh... in that moment, I wanted to see what he had.
Positive and happy thoughts will usually invite others to join you. Don't see this as everything is wrong... See it as an opportunity to make changes in your life.
I love challenges. I highly recommend you look at it as a challenge and climb the next mountain you see.
It wasn't just about the castles for me. I went to a dinner show in a Welsh castle... the singing was incredible. In Ireland I went to another dinner show and again... the singing was incredible. Edinburgh ... well the views, the different stages of buildings, the museums... spectacular.
1. In Australia people will stand on the left and be 'overtaken' on the right. We use an escalator the same way we drive.
2. I agree, it's dangerous...
3. Personal space--this one is interesting. If you live in a city you have a tendency to stand closer to an individual , than if you live in the country. (So the research indicates)
4. I haven't noticed I was abbreviating anything... yet. However, in future, I will pay it mind. I promise to try my very best and speak the Queen's English...
CailinCallaghan --- I can understand that! I have a friend over there who lives next to these lakes and he has invited me back to stay with him and his partner. I didn't get a chance to catch up with them... but can you imagine living there ALL of the time?
Kittyjoy --- You are very welcome... it's incredibly serene. I have been to National Parks in other countries, but this whole country is like one big park.
Solo, I am sorry you haven't been there. It sounds like you would have fallen in love with it as much as I did. I went to a few shows over there...one was in Dublin and it rocked.
This is where I went to the comedy/music show in Dublin.
I have been to Oregon too... you reside in a beautiful state.
Except, on my next trip I am going to spend more time around Cork. I have debated whether to fly into Dublin, but... it makes more sense for me to go to Cork. I went to a few live shows in Ireland and they certainly know how to entertain.
It says you are in Oregon... is Ireland like a second home for you too?
For awhile, I thought the photos were ones you had taken...but they are not . Beautiful photos nonetheless.... I love the tranquillity in the top photo... and I love the photo of the botanical garden
Glenn, you have arrived onto the blogs full of vitriol... There is a saying that you attract more with honey, than with vinegar... I am sure you are familiar with it.
rapturecapture--- I enjoyed it enough to be planning my next flight... which isn't too far away. I am just organising a few more days off work, so I can book for the end of October. You live in a beautiful country.
Scotland, my experience
