Mike, I quoted. I do not write poetry. It's not a skill of mine.

I do think you have a romantic side though.

I stand by the fact Mike...that you are a romantic.

Psssst Z... I am going to tell you a secret.

I never water my roses. In fact, mostly I neglect them. I cut them back a few times a year.

Hello Ninnoe. You are quite welcome. Thank you for viewing. It seems a waste that I am the only one who sees them at times. laugh

RE: The Blog Plant.

Cat...if I was hoping sleep would assist my looks, perhaps I would have to sleep 100 years.

Sleep well. Pleasant dreams.

RE: The Blog Plant.

Simmo, when was the last time you were truly innocent???

RE: The Blog Plant.

Hello Cat... Nice to see you again. wave

RE: The Blog Plant.

Mike, they are such a delightful green... And they DO look so nice on you. grin

RE: The Blog Plant.

Fotinia... I was out walking in my garden at 6am. It's raining , birds are tweeting and the flowers are abundant... it's exceptionally beautiful.

That is a beautiful photo you have shared.

RE: The Blog Plant.

Z... I agree. The quality of gardening has not been high lately. It's almost like people aren't watering , or even choosing plants that benefit the landscape.

Simmo... Simmo, there are several ways I can take your question... but suffice to say I have professional pruners. wink

As for the handymen, well let's just say ... while the saga is ongoing, I am dealing with it. smile

RE: The Blog Plant.

I lack the energy to do much more than enjoy the weeds lately, Z.

Although it's so nice to see your flowers. wink

RE: The Blog Plant.

Glitch...oooooohhhh I like the gloves...

RE: The Blog Plant.

So who trims the bush when it gets out of control?

RE: it's Peter

Tru, you really are a tease. There is nothing there. laugh

RE: 2° Celsius

...So it's invigorating?

You are probably going to Hell, Mike...but I hear it's warm there for you.

There is a certain appeal about a serving boy...

Daniel, I was in Massachusetts in Autumn last year and I agree... it's beautiful. I loved Boston.

But in my own backyard, I favour Spring.

Francie2013 --- Thank you. I never knew I would have a garden, as a child I always used to say I was going to have concrete, and paint it green. But maybe I did that because my mother was a mad gardener. laugh

Catfoot --- This has nothing to do with luck... Every year in October, my garden bursts forth in flower , the birds chirp all day... it's spectacularly beautiful.

However, I actually find dismally cold weather to have a charm all of it's own. Sorry you missed out on your fishing trip. comfort

Dogs? Plural... I could say something, but... I won't.

Seriously though... I hope you feel better soon. comfort

blushing I am glad you had a wonderful time with Trinity. At least that Princess doesn't require you to slay dragons, to climb towers, to raise a sword... that Princess falls readily into your arms full of giggles and love.

... AND it is Friday night, so naturally I would assume you have been out for after work drinks. wine

I agree Simmo, I have been to the US for Spring a couple of times and it's incredible. There is something... in the air, and I definitely have a weakness for it.

It's nice to see you by the way, but should you not be out tonight ?

Hello Serenity,

Hailstones... now THOSE I could do without. I think they would hurt Wolfy ( my car) ... and I wouldn't like that.

The scents are pretty incredible... it is so nice to get home from work and wander around my garden at the moment. daydream
