It is common trade practice to increase the retail price on an item then offer that item at a discounted price that relates to the true sales value.
The important thing is... If you feel you got the mug at a good price then you should be happy regardless as to whether you have been ripped off or not.

I think men take a lot for granted in relationships, so long as they are getting what they want love is not something they consider important hence forget the needs of women.
I would suggest (but dont know) that in general, relationships tend to last for as long a period as the woman loves the man?
It all depends on how far away this man lives, the sooner you meet the sooner you will know whether you like him or not and whether he is a genuine as you think.
It takes time to get to know people, take your time, do not rush into anything.
