Dan, honesty is the best policy. I have always maintained voluntarily giving out information that needs to be known specially if it bears of great importance on any relationship. But you can't be obligated to tell things that for the most part is already forgotten, but when it comes out and being asked, then say as much as you can remember..
Otherwise, tell as it happens during the current relationship, asked or not..I have to share all and everything to whom I love and that voids any kind of suspicions and or mistrust..
