RE: Let's go in past

It should be ‘Another thing’ doh

I got carried away when I talked about Arty’s past. Just hate those people that have hurt my Arty....blues Hate the things that they did to him...

RE: Let's go in past

Oh! Anything thing...

I let go of my past pretty easy. I don’t really dwell on my past.

However, I can’t seem to let go of my husband’s past! He doesn’t think of his past but I’d be reminding him of all the wrongdoings that had been done on him. I guess I just hate ( I know that’s a strong word ) those people that have hurt him in the past...very mad

RE: Let's go in past

Hi Mr. Amor wave

I’ve made a lot of mistakes throughout my life...some I look back in regret, some I don’t.

I hope to learn from most of them but sometimes I still make the same mistake, knowingly! doh

I pray to Surya for guidance, not to be in total darkness please

RE: Nice Country..

Hi Robby wave

Unfortunately, a lot of airlines are suffering at this moment. Not sure if they are recruiting but there’s no harm in trying?

AirAsia is just a budget airline. Your son should aim for better airlines like Emirates, Etihad or even Singapore Airline!

RE: Nice Country..

Surprisingly, with all the amount of cash being carried around in Macau, the crime rate was rather low.

I’ve never ever felt unsafe or threatened. I even let my very young teens to go about on their own.

Not too sure now coz I don’t live there anymore but I’m pretty sure things haven’t changed much.

RE: Nice Country..

Yup, only AirAsia for me when I travelled back to Malaysia from Macau. 4-hr flight.

My daughter joined AirAsia 3 years ago. We are now trying to get her over here in the US but that won’t be happening anytime soon due to this pandemic. The US embassy in Kuala Lumpur is not conducting any interview at the moment. I hate to say it to her but she should’ve joined her brother and I when we relocate to the US! roll eyes mumbling

Bus 26, small cute lil’ bus that goes round and round! laugh

I’d definitely make a trip once it’s ok to travel again. Will probably make a pit stop in Macau on my way back to Malaysia.

Insha allah, maybe you and I can meet up too! applause

RE: Nice Country..

I have friends in Ocean Garden still! grin I used to go with them to Seng Cheong Supermercado. I would normally shop at San Miu only.

Does bus no.33 still go to Ocean Garden?

Oh! I miss San Ma Lou too! laugh

I met someone on CS 5 years ago and wanna torture him with my terrible + horrible + miserable cooking therefore move in with him a year ago grin

RE: Nice Country..

I lived in Taipa. Macau side is too crowded and Coloane is too ‘remote’ with not many shops around.

I really like Macau. Everywhere is so accessible. Oh! I missed those shopping around Red Market. Also those yummy Portuguese egg tart. I prefer Lord Stow ones over those of Margaret’s.

Ayra, how long were you in Macau?

RE: Nice Country..

A nice country indeed! I lived there for 6 years. I left in 2013 but has been going back there almost every year to visit friends. Would love to take my Arty there one day to introduce him to my friends! grin

On our way for some retail therapy. My daughter was only 14 then and was going through her ‘rebellious’ years. grin

My apartment was just opposite the Macau Jockey Club. I could see them horse racing from the comfort of my balcony laugh

I loved to go over to Zhuhai, China to shop. Before we’d go for our shopping marathon, we’d fill up our bellies with yummy dim sum. My son’s favourite dish, ‘chicken feet braised with black beans’. He could eat up to 15 chicken feet at one sitting! wow

For his 14th birthday, we took him to have his favourite Dim Sum.

My last trip was just before I relocated to the US, to get a police clearance report that was required by the US embassy in Kuala Lumpur. Managed to meet up with some of my friends and that one week I was there, it was just food, food and more food! grin

Hi Pedro wave

My Arty doesn’t have any baggage at all, believe it or not!
It’s this silly MiMi that keeps dragging his ‘baggage’ ( in her stupid mind, she’s convinced he has one! roll eyes doh ), much to his annoyance and dislike blues

RE: July on the farm.

That pic was taken in mid-September of last year, a month and a half after I set foot in the US for the first time.

I hope we can go to other apple farms for picking apples this year. I was trying to convince Art to take me to a local lavender and bee farm tour here.

He has agreed but I then changed my mind coz they want $10 for each person. I could get a lot of things from the Goodwill with that amount of money! grin

RE: There just is no way a man can make a woman happy even when he takes over the cooking for a change.

Art doesn’t quite like food with pungent spices. He keeps asking me not to force him to eat ‘my’ food. He prefers his type of food.

His daughter sent me a text 3 days ago...giggle

My daughter plans to reside here with me and her brother ( my son ). She has a 10 year US visa and visited Hawaii last year September. However, she’d be needing a different type of visa ( a K-2 visa ) in order to be able to get a green card.

RE: Mama Cat

Lots of adjustments when we first got married. We both were and are still set in our own ways when it comes to certain things but there’s one thing that we definitely will not change for the other no matter what.....that is.........sharing of an ice-cream cone! No wayyyyy!!!! scold

Art is a very very clean man. Very tidy.
However, his fitted bedsheet folding skills are totally out!! doh

This message from my Malaysian girlfriend ( 31 years-old ) was from last week. She was over at my place from 10.30am to 9pm. I packed a variety of food for her when she left. grin

This one was this morning. She was over here yesterday from 10am to 9pm.
I also packed some food for her to bring home.

She’s like a little sister to me. Very smart gal. Very focused in what she wants for her future.

She met up with my daughter when she went back to Malaysia for a 2-week holiday last December. I sent through her some gifts for my daughter and at the same time my daughter also handed her some gifts for me! laugh

My 22 year-old daughter had coffee with her and they chatted for a couple of hours. They hit it off right away coz they both have a lot of same interests.

My daughter is hoping to join me and her younger brother here in Omaha but unfortunately she couldn’t get an interview at the US embassy in Kuala Lumpur. It’s temporarily closed due to the pandemic blues

My Malaysian girlfriend is back again today! She came earlier today coz she brought some ingredients for me to cook for her, some vegetarian curry.

She must be really desperate coz MiMi is not known for her cooking skills! rolling on the floor laughing

Deep fried tofu, okra, aubergine and potato curry.

She’s talking to my son now about college life in Omaha, that’s why I can excused myself and comment on the blogs. grin

By the way, we communicate in English, Manglish ( Malaysian mangled English rolling on the floor laughing ) Cantonese and a smattering of Malay.

Hope you’re enjoying your Sunday, Jenny teddybear hug bouquet

RE: Hobbies

Hi Ooby wave

I love collecting vintage men, errr...I mean, trays giggle especially enamel tray.

I have close to 60 vintage enamel trays of various sizes. It could have been more if not for the fact I had to relocate to join Art. I brought along like 20 of them in hope that my Arty will see that they will be mounted to the kitchen wall...still keeping my fingers and toes crossed!! drinking

Anyway, here’s just a fraction of my collection.
