It was really hot the last few days here ( I don’t like it ) but it’s gloomy and wet today ( I don’t like it either! ) I know, it’s hard to please the MiMi
Hope you still have your gorgeous weather over there!
I tried this a year ago and it didn’t work for me, unfortunately
I have also tried those turmeric with black pepper pills but no relief and stopped taking them after 3 months.
I’m better at managing my pain now. I am in a support group on Facebook and by reading other people’s accounts and experiences, I’m very thankful that I’m still able to lead a pretty normal life
I’m in a different kind of pain. Flare-ups on my joints that resulted in difficulties in doing even normal chores.
I inject myself on the stomach once a week to stop the progress of my rheumatoid arthritis.
I’m in constant pain and have accepted the fact I’ll never be pain-free again but that’s alright coz I’m still breathing and enjoying life. This life is too precious
Yessssss!!!! Once there’s no need to be quarantined when I arrived in Malaysia. Currently you need to be quarantined for 10 days and cough up USD450 for that. Art will have to pay like USD550 coz he’s non-Malaysian.
Meanwhile, Art and I will just travel around within the US.
In case Art is not aware of what we have in the food pantry.
Feeling incredulous still. I made coconut-flavoured rice, biryanis, flied lice, etc etc etc for his sisters, brother, neighbours and my Malaysian friends ..... and never once he ate any of them!
MiMi will not give up so easily! Will attempt one more time! But with a friend ( a Malay Muslim who has been residing in the US for more than 20 years ) this time around!
It’s Ramadhan and she’s fasting from dawn to dusk. I’ve offered to make the pineapple jam as to lessen her burden. We will make them pineapple tarts probably 3 days before Eid al-Fitr. Can’t make them any sooner coz they would definitely be gone before the special day! Just like my Arty, her American husband loves pineapple tarts too!
I got 3 medium-sized ones. Should be able to yield enough to be divided between us two
Only you and I ( and now, Art too! ) know the joke
Just got back from the Asian Market and them sotong ( squids in Malay ) looked so so good! Too bad Art wouldn’t want any of these anywhere near the house
I love them all!! When I get back to Malaysia, I’d have my sotong fix, you betcha!!
I’ve seen parrots picking out tarot cards. Yup, they can tell your fortune for a fee
I’ve seen a lot of Indian fortune tellers with their pet parrots selling their wares in Little India in Malaysia and Singapore. I bet there are a lot of them in India but I’ve never been to India, unfortunately.
Art and I were walking through a small park in Fueringola and we saw a lot of green parrots ( or parakeets? ) flying around and making a lot of noise. They were probably setting for the night We could see them on top of the rows of palm trees that lined the park.
Didn’t take any pics of them, sadly. Only this pic of my Arty in that park coz he was my only muse that time
RE: #10 was easy...
You guys got them all right!Except for Miclee’s ‘Seoul’
