Awesome! Would you be available this coming Saturday, 3rd February? How about we meet at 11am? Let me know the name of the restaurant in Taman Eng Ann. I’ll use Waze to get there. Art is a very finicky eater. He doesn’t like 90% of the food in Malaysia and other Southeast Asia countries He hasn’t tried dry Bak Kut Teh before therefore I’m feeling a bit apprehensive. He does like Char Siew and Kai Si Hor Fun very very much Took him to one of the best in Ipoh the other day
I have friends that I’ve known for ages and when the realization hits that we were no longer compatible and on different wavelength, I was initially bewildered and sad but then I thought to myself, maybe I’m the one that has changed…
My son who’s a big fan of dry Bak Kut Teh, didn’t get the chance to have it at his favorite restaurant in Klang before he left for the States 2 weeks ago but fortunately I was able to bring him to one in my hometown, Teluk Intan.
Well, I’m free to meet anywhere if you want but if you don’t, that’s alright too
A lot of good bloggers or commentators no longer contribute on the blogs. They might have left for good or just watching by the sidelines. I do miss a couple of them.
Good thing you and several others are still around
Our annual ritual. As usual, Art wanted only Jonathan apples.
I will cut them apples up into thin slices and soak them into water that has been lightly salted. I like to do that for Art so that he does not need to sink his teeth into the whole apple!
I managed to pull out my final assignment that I thankfully have saved, from my one drive! Yayyyyy!
Some of the excerpts from my 10-minute PowerPoint presentation.
I would love to try laverbread if I get the chance. During the presentation, I made fun of Welsh Cakes, “It cannot decide what it want to be!” So, Jac, do you think it’s more of a scone, a cookie or a pancake?
For my ‘Regional Cuisine’ class finals, I chose Wales and cooked Cawl for my chef and my fellow classmates. I also had to do a 10-minute clip on anything Welsh. I got my son to photoshop my face into this….
For someone hefty like me, I discovered that it’s easier to find someone to be attracted to me here in the States than in my old country where I was never been given a second look.
RE: The entity
I’d be terrified!! I believe in the supernatural, hantu, pontianak, orang minyak, hantu raya, jinn, pocong, ‘kwai chai’ or toyol!Question: Why do you think you experienced all these only now? Why only now after you’ve been there for more than 30 years?
