Frank Buckles was believed to be the last surviving American veteran of World War One. He died on Sunday at the age of 110 years old.
His daughter told media that Buckles died Sunday at his farm in West Virginia. He celebrated his 110th birthday on February 1.
Buckles had lied about his age in order to join the army at age 16. A native of Missouri, he was among nearly 5 million Americans that served during World War I in 1917 and 1918.
Buckles drove an ambulance during the war, and in 1941 during World War II while working as a civilian in Manila, he was captured by the Japanese and held prisoner for 38 months.
Buckles was quoted as saying in recent years:
"I knew there'd be only one (survivor) someday. I didn't think it would be me."
Internationally, there are only believed to be two other surviving veterans of World War I. A 109-year-old Australian man and a 110-year-old British woman are believed to be the remaining survivors of the war that lasted from 1914 to 1918. An estimated 65 million people around the world were involved in the war.
Because being in a union gives them the power to strike and put the education of our children on hold just to get more. Also the union boses have to have some form of income.

Actually parts of the US are experiencing it also. There are major cities that are heading that way. Some States are trying to pass laws to deny Sharia to be held up as viable laws that can be used. Please don't think your situation is all that different.
The below story flies in the face of our Constitution and goes against every thing that I swore and oath to protect and defend.
American Bar Association Executive Council Vows to Fight Anti-Sharia Law Measures
(CNSNews.com) - The executive council of the American Bar Association (ABA) is organizing an effort to actively oppose states that ban Sharia law.
Included in the text of the ABA’s “International Policies 2010” is a section which organizes a “task force” to review anti-Sharia legislation that has been introduced in 14 states – Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.
The report reads:
“The goal of the task force is to have a Report and Recommendation against such legislation as well as an informal set of "talking points" that local opponents of these initiatives could use to make their case in each of these states.”
However, in a statement released on Wednesday, the ABA attempted to distance itself from the executive council’s statement.
Your country can make it happen by applying pressure to your elected representatives in your government. Enough people scream for the right to defend themselves then it can become a reality for your country as well.
Just remember the Whol,e premise of the 2nd amendment was based on the right of the people here to abolish the government if need be. Our founding fathers saw that need 200+ years ago.
In Europe maybe. But the US nope won't happen. To many people with guns. It would be really stupid for anyone to try. We like our way of life here even if it isn't perfect.
