So I seen a eye specialist yesterday, my eyes are fine. Anyone with diabetes need to keep their eyes checked on as the disease is known to mess with your eyes. Yes I need glasses but no damage.
Also, I discovered something
CBD pain relief cream. CBD is taken from pot plants (not the part that gets you high). In a cream, it is very good at pain relief. I had no idea it was so good as it is until I got some a few days ago thanks to my buddy.
With how many scammers pass through this place sending messages, how often to do you think they message and end up to each other? How do you think that conversation would go?
Meditation is good when you have a bad day and you want to get yourself into a good state of mind again. Medication is needed when you have a chemical imbalance that prevents your mind from functioning correctly.
When you turn off all your house lights for 6 months with the doors locked, hid away from everyone, too scared to get up off the couch, then you need medications. Everything has its place.
You are right, as time goes on and you say no more, it do get easier. Most recovered people are like myself, have those scattered split second flashbacks, its being able to say no that keeps you on the right path. It only lasts like seconds, just a matter of not making a rash choice.
It never truly goes away. I got friends who cleaned up like myself and they all say the same, there are moments when they are put back on the spot and have to say no. Sometimes ignorance really is a bliss, if you don't know it, you will never miss it. Needs to be a lot more education put out there for young people so they never try the stuff to begin with. Its too late for my generation but hopefully the next generation to come will make better choices.
One substance in particular, bit of chemicals involved in the processing of it (not meth). When I would do it, I would taste those chemicals. Every now and then if I get a scent of something with chemicals, sometimes its like what I used to taste and when I smell it, it takes me right back and I can almost taste it in the back of my throat.
I been away from it for years, but still prone to those flashbacks when everything lines up. I know I won't go back but between me and you, for a moment, I'll be like a salivating dog till I say "no", then it goes away again.
I never responded good to medications that targeted dopamine, they always made me angry. My go to meds are those that target serotonin, responded very well to those. All depends on the person though, some need meds that target dopamine.
One time i could go jump off a cliff, play football, fight with a bunch if the byes, wrestle, go home for dinner, then get on the go and do something fun.
I just tried to turn my head a little too fast and now it hurts
Anything you wish to have. Stay at the cabin for a while, then go out in society until you have your fill, then you be ready for the cabin again. Winters in a cabin with a wood stove have their own charm.
It will never happen but should I ever have the means one day, I will have a cabin in the woods alongside a pond with a stream that never froze over and have a hydroelectric generator for power. All you need is a Starlink satellite dish and you are in business.
