If we wrote our profiles truly honest, how different would they read from how they read now?
Mine would still read the same, just with more added like the fact I have mental health issues, live at home and not working. I'd love to see some profiles here done with that treatment, but of course we don't advertise our baggage, don't we :)
Its so much easier to be myself. If I were to lie and stuff, then I'd have to remember the lies and then compound lies with more lies and besides, its dishonest. I would rather people be themselves with me so why wouldn't I do the same.
I know it turns some off people because I'm not exactly a typical person but it attracts the right people, those who accept me for what I really am and not for something that I'm not.
People do it. Remember a few years ago during a cold snap the refugees were crossing the border with next to nothing on for clothes. I don't know how many froze to death but it couldn't have been a good experience for them.
Its easy to get someone in here. My province has countless bays and arms that a small wooden boat can pull in discreetly and make a drop off. Keeping them here however is another matter as they would probably have to hide out a lot
I do not understand why those screws are so short. A locking knob is little good if one decent kick sends the door in, you would think someone who makes door knobs would have put this together.
Doing this could save you from a bad situation. The latch on your door hooks into the metal piece on the door box and that is what is holding your door. The screws that come with the metal piece are very short and one kick to the door could break it easy. Replace those screws with long deck screws and your door will be a LOT more secure and harder to get through. I am doing this and encourage everyone to do this with your front and back doors.
