RE: Evolution

Because if it was any less sophisticated then we wouldn't be sophisticated enough to wonder why it looks so sophisticated, this is why it appears so damn intelligent. And the driving force is a manifestation of secret natural laws far beyond our capacity to measure.

RE: The most important characteristics you look for in a partner

Beauty, depth, loyalty and values.

RE: How old are you really lol

Oh I can and will generalise(you know me well enough by now), but yes men do it too, my Dad being one of them.

RE: Are you one of them

I'm less likely to be one of them. Many younger people have witnessed their own parents make a complete hash of marriage and we were also not party to the great GIMME DAT battle cry of the baby-boomer/debt-hoarder generation. And so I expect the millenials, being pessimistic and grounded as opposed to childish and idealistic like boomers, to be a much more practical generation capable of making better life choices, which will include less ill-fated marriages and far less divorce.

RE: Can we feel we are in love with people that we haven't met?

Well yes, it can happen. Some people say they're in love before meeting and nobody can say that these people are lying or wrong over something so subjective as love.

I could say that I think that these people might be desperate, easy or have an abnormal way of bonding to other Human beings, but what I can't say is that they are not in love. I love my girlfriend, but I can't obectively prove this just as they cannot prove their love.

RE: No crash, yet. Then, why....

Noose avoidance. Sooner or later the massive redistribution of wealth from West to East is going to hit home hard and, as desirable as it may be, we simply cannot send all the guilty Boomers to the gallows, but I could definitely see the bankers copping for the general idiocy.

RE: today I am feeling I lost everything,

Try to be less self-indulgent. You'll be writing your own blog next or founding your own internet-assembled bedroom philosophy before crawling up your own colon for good.

RE: Interracial Dating

People(and more women than men)are found to be more attracted to people that look more like themselves. Then you have culture and personality which race is an indicator of, and the divergence of the tribes which is the drive of Human evolution and diversity.

These would explain why I, a White man, have a preference for White women despite the fact that on paper White women are the worst women to enter into a relationship with. My chances of being cheated on, her chances of getting fat, the chances of producing an autistic, depressed or socially crippled sprog, and my chances of being financially broken all go up by my choosing of a White woman. But alas, the heart wants what it wants

RE: Scottish Independence, Yay or Nay??

I'd like to see that happen. Let's have them towed into the north sea, just that little bit further away.

RE: Political Correctness

RE: Do you have unrealistic expectations in your search for a partner ?

Now now, I've lost count of the number of times I've seen you complaining that you're too picky(which is probably because you've been reading too much Jane Austen).

RE: What makes you laugh/smile?

Sure, what makes you laugh and your sense of humour are completely unrelated.

RE: LET'S HEAR YOUR COMMENTS

RE: It is wonderful to be proved wrong...

If you're regularly being proved wrong then it probably means that you're not learning anything and that you're quick to voice your opinion on matters which you know nothing about.

And besides, 90% of the time proving somebody wrong achieves nothing. Emotion, humour, sophistry, spin and even tears mean more than real evidence ever could.

RE: Prison Inmate Conjugal Visits

We don't allow it in the UK and I agree. The inmate is there to be punished, and thug-loving women need to have their tingle-drive towards sociopaths curbed and not condoned.

RE: Do you have unrealistic expectations in your search for a partner ?

False hopes and pretty lies are the bread and butter of the online dating site. The profit margins of site likes this would collapse if the people on them were realistic.

RE: Hunting

Hunters may directly harm the animal kingdom. But if non-hunters are indirectly causing multiple times the damage then what right do they have to judge? The answer is no right.

RE: Hunting

I'll bet more animals die unnecessarily simply because of how wasteful you(you and everybody else)are than they do by hunting for sport. And overeaters definitely kill more animals per person than these sportsmen.

If we're to ban hunting for sport because it's cruel, harmful, wasteful and an unnecessarily decadent pleasure then why stop there? Why not ban bric-a-brac, cosmetics, dyes, fashion and retail therapy in general?

RE: How Long Would You…. In an Apocalypse?

The results are in! You'd survive for forty years after the apocalypse.

And you know what? You'd probably end up as some sort of tribal god. We're sticking with you.

You're basically Kevin Costner in Waterworld.

I barely survived the 2+ hours of that film nevermind the apocalypse. And can I just add, moss does not only grow on the north side of trees in the northern hemisphere, that is a myth

RE: If you could change any one thing in the world, what would that be and why?

I'd cut up all the credit and victim cards. I don't like living in a world where boomers abandoned the future because they had credit cards, and I detest the hypocrisy of a world where a non-White and affluent woman can attain victimhood status because of her race and gender but the wrong kind of White man is referred to as White trash.

RE: Political Correctness

PC is a hangover from a time when free speech and critical thinking were suppressed under the banner of tolerance, when citizens were gagged in case they let slip a sliver of earnest crimethink. But the for the most part the young do not think nor speak freely, so the gag becomes less and less necessary. PC is redundant, it has achieved its primary ambition of creating an unblinking mass. And the crimethinkers and realtalkers will circumvent PC by simply being offensive towards everything.

RE: Everyone is in Debt !!

All true. My point on the national debt is that it acts like a permanent Keynesian stimulus in order to sustain the trade deficit(so yes, I am mixing trade with money creation). My context is of debt being downstream of the economy and to look at the primary reason why we have more credit than sense.

RE: Everyone is in Debt !!

Technically you're correct. There is more debt than there is actual money just as there is more "money" than there are things to buy.

National debt(like all debt)is what has arised in nations that consume more than they create. Our governments spend more money than they have to spend in order to to raise living standards beyond what the citizen total works for. If we ignore the voodoo economics of financial charlatans, then the common sense and fundamental cause of getting into debt is buying more than you sell - consuming more than you create - hence why the trade deficit is the real reason for the debt problem.

RE: Everyone is in Debt !!

Here's your reason

Canadians should be up in arms about this as Canada has the natural advantages of a small population and large reserves of natural resources. Lowering your trade deficit should be easier because of this.

RE: Minimum Wage Increase?

I dont think raising the minimum wage is a good idea during this time where the US is trying to onshore. Even though the rise will only cover government jobs this will have the effect of attracting the better workers towards the public sector(which needs to be shrunk)and away from the manufacturing/private sector(which needs to be grown).

America also remains too reliant upon imports to see real gains from raising workers' wages. So long as the worker spends his paycheck(or large part thereof)on imports then this will not boost the real American economy and what will ultimately come from raising the minimum wage is inflation.

RE: What makes a woman a good lover?

Not yet, but I am the biggest investor.

How long on the market do you think these would need to be before CS goes dead? I'm guessing a week.

RE: What makes a woman a good lover?

Hot and eager

RE: US movies

They're trash! But they're entertaining trash, and in the end doesn't that make them the best? The answer is no.

RE: Share what you are listening to, part 4..

RE: Why do we always let the best girls get away.

So we become taunted by the shadows of our past like some Byronic hero. We've learn so much from this experience with this one girl(or ten girls), that we become better men for the pain and tragedy, stronger in spirit and resilient in adversity... even though we wish things had never fallen apart. We then have a standard to measure all other women by... and come up short.
