RE: ISIS is a good chance for the world.

That's a sign of the times. Or should I say a sign of their times.

Islam has been resuscitated in the 20th century. They were nothing 100 years ago. And I believe their culture is destined to die and be replaced by something new. Their whole way of thinking is stagnant and uncreative, and they make Western nihilism look dynamic and young. I don't believe that they have anywhere to go other than destruction.

RE: ISIS is a good chance for the world.

Madness is behind ISIS. ISIS is an insane attempt at imperialism spurred on by a Muslim world falling apart from the inside.

RE: ANTALYA

Whatever recipe they have around Izmir. Still mostly Muslim, isn't backward, and it works - works much better than southern Europe.

RE: Kids these days

RE: Should the United States mind their business and stay out of every war?

It was a spoof.
Reverse what I said.

RE: Should the United States mind their business and stay out of every war?

Afghanistan, Iraq and Vietnam were totally justified but you should have kept out of the second world war. Did more harm than good.

RE: Sketchy Type of Characters in the Dating World

I watch out for:

"strong"
"independent"
"I have a good sense of humour"
"I have good social skills"

No one who is or has these things would state it. Humour being the most important - never trust a woman without a sense of humour.

Signs of immaturity:

"I'm looking for fun, fun, FUN"
"I get bored easily"

And how they frame things. Is what she says entirely about what she wants instead of what she has to offer? If so then this is not good enough.

Also, is she able to make a joke out of herself? Does she have the ego and the value to spare so she can afford to self-deprecate? Or is she too weak to stomach the loss? I can forgive a certain level of deserved arrogance and narcissism, but I cannot forgive petty narcissism(the inability to ever say a word against yourself)which clearly comes from a place of deep inadequacy.

RE: Whats The Meaning Of Life ?

This

RE: If you were given. "One Wish" by a kind fairy, what would you wish?

I'd like to somehow blend the courage, discipline and wisdom of ages long past with the technology, science and means of today. Classic wisdom with modern science would achieve the balance of the world and sanity in the affairs of men. A Western world with balls and common sense would be my wish.

RE: Better....

Pithy saying that's bang on truth. No wonder it's been around for years.

RE: No soul, no love? I am in trouble

Definitely, I agree. It's more than Atheism that I am referring to. Few Atheists are truly Atheists, most just don't believe in god.

RE: No soul, no love? I am in trouble

Take Atheism to its aspie and true extreme and women won't like you for it it. That's for sure. Intuition and feels will always clash with what can be mechanically and rationally explained.

And I agree with the women, there is an unbearable blandness to the true Atheist. They make for the kind of autistic world where we may as well all kill ourselves because there is literally no point to life.

RE: Who was the most "Divisive" person of the 20th Century?

Ayn Rand is not well known here. Britain's most divisive has to be Thatcher. Oh we'll never forget you Margot Thatcher.

RE: Another Beheading

I've just heard they beheaded Alan Henning - a charity worker! And the Jihadi who did it has a London accent(another victory for multiculturalism)so hopefully the National Front or somebody else will track down his family over here and get even.

If ISIS keeps going on like this then Muslims ought prepare for the greatest drubbing of their lives. History shows what Europe is capable of.

RE: Outrageous double standard in US owned fast food companies

Pretty bad, it's done our famous British teeth no favours. But we're not quite at the stage of ordering by the gallon... yet.

RE: Outrageous double standard in US owned fast food companies

I can sort of see his point in that if Britain had been the first to go for fast food would we be where America now is? These things have a way of running away with themselves. It does help to let somebody try something before you because you can watch and learn from where they go wrong.

RE: Outrageous double standard in US owned fast food companies

And that's the point. There was a concerted effort amongst some Brits to make Mcdonalds(and food in general)healthier in no doubt aided by looking at how obese America has become. It gives us a chance to nip it in the bud before it gets out of hand.

I mean look at the KFC bucket. Where could that end up? It's quite a leap from plate to bucket, but from bucket to trough.. not very far at all.

RE: Outrageous double standard in US owned fast food companies

You're years ahead of us in consumerism and fast food, so we have America as an example of what not to be like. It's the advantage of not being first.

RE: millionaire

Soon enough we'll all be millionaires(thanks to hyper-inflation)

How will we live? By throwing wads of notes into a metal drum, throwing in a match, and huddling around for warmth.

RE: The "Big 5" and their new world order

You're in the best place to think like that - the top of a mountain. Although this will not protect your bubble with certainty. A better mountain would be Olympus Mons.

RE: The "Big 5" and their new world order

It's the flaming truth. A good dose of anarchy will thin out the ranks of those who disrespect authority.

RE: The "Big 5" and their new world order

I'm talking about the chavs and the orc hordes. Thinking more like the movie the purge.

It's not like the black and tans because the thugs would not be ordered to do harm, they would be left to do what comes naturally to them. I want the liberal silver spoons to experience how the other half lives, and to see how quickly they'll run for the cops and the law when their own gilded lifestyles encounter harsh reality. Also, I'd replace all the locks with paper locks so the they can't just hide indoors.

RE: The "Big 5" and their new world order

What we need is to introduce a program where we bus thousands of thugs out of the inner-cities and rough areas and unleash them upon liberal suburbia for a week. We will say no laws, no cops and just let them have their way. It's the kind of short sharp shock that's needed.

RE: The "Big 5" and their new world order

Crimmos have the run of the place in Britain and the cops fight with one hand tied behind their back.

It'd be good to get out of the EU because it's run by liberal silver spoon enclavers completely removed from the dangers and struggles of the world and therefore come to adopt this naive view that there is nothing dangerous in the world - apart from the authorities. Unfortunately many people now grow up in bubble-wrapped suburbia with this paranoid and blinkered view of reality.

RE: Single forever!!

Single and sleeping around gets boring after a while, being truly alone would be a living death. I don't know why so many first world folk even entertain the idea unless you're that long in the tooth. I think it's only a matter of time before we forget how to breed.

RE: Should schools teach Creationism along with Evolution ?

My thinking is that people needed a sense of imagination in order for this imagination to be captured and translated into intellectual and creative brilliance. Their capacity for faith was their ability for imagination.

Then the Baby boomers happened. What intellect and imagination is to be found amongst them? Very little intellect - they are too fickle for that - and their definition of imagination was LSD. And so long as they can afford wafer-thin ham and their two weeks in Tenerife then all else becomes irrelevant.

RE: Should schools teach Creationism along with Evolution ?

Why's that a laughing matter? It's not a good thing for the future to belong to nihilists with no imagination.

Only the other day I was reading through exam papers aimed at 13/14 year olds from 1908, and you couldn't ignore just how much more intellectually and spiritually developed these students were in comparison to anything which can be found today(from the young or the old).

It's a serious thought to ponder the backwardness of Atheist society which ostensibly has all the answers, or at the least, claims to have many more of them. Is it not wise to consider why modern adults are so clearly bested by the religious children of yesteryear?

RE: It's Hard Being British

The Great British Public on politics.

It's hard to run a country populated by the British.

RE: It's Hard Being British

David Cameron's changed his tune since he was a boy

RE: It's Hard Being British

That's the problem. The British vote Conservative in the good faith that what we'll get is a complete and utter arsehole.
