To be courageous, you have to face fear. It doesnt take courage to do things you are comfortable with.
But the unknown holds no fear for the young because they have not experienced the feeling of loss, that a lot of people suffer.
This only comes from attachment.
If everything material was taken from me now, it would not bother me.
So when you form attachment to things, then the fear of losing them sometimes overcomes the joy of having had them in the first place ... I am learning this more and more .. it is a very painful lesson.
My only fear is to be left with my mind and no form of expression.
I logged off about 1045, and there was a thread called European invaders ... it was set up by a non-Euro - Gil - Xfactor
It got pulled.
But I agree, there will be very few people in here, if it remains Euros only.
Germanwoman, Lutz, HeinzKetchup, Jovist, WestDeck/Amica are all Euros whose English is good enough to play with us, and for that we are grateful, but the rest of us, being natural English speakers will only have a few peeps to play with.
It will drive us back on to the main board. I, for one, will not be playing in the main board.
Well thats not strictly true, but I think that we are being segregated, and if we want to play together, we must use the international forum ... which kinda sucks.
Mummy cannibal says to baby cannibal, what are you doing? Baby cannibal says, I am playing cards with this nice white missionary So, Mummy cannibal says "How many times have I told you, NOT to play with your food!!!"
find yourself a hot blooded Italian/Greek male who wants to donate his passport to you and then voila!! Admittedly you may have to render some services ... but IA m sure you will work something out
Well, as the countries in Europe are so diverse, a 15 hour drive can take you through 6 different countries. All with their own cultures, language and "interesting" foibles!!!
RE: European buffet....
.. ah no, its Rindhoven!!!
