Why do I love you???

Ah Mags, darling, Im sorry, but its a mixture of work, no internet connection and thinking of the right thing to say.

Never was I before stuck for words, but its a funny thing!

Why do I love you???

Sometimes at night, when I look to the sky,
I start thinking of you and then ask myself, why?
Why do I love you? I think and smile,
because I know the list could run on for miles.

The whisper of your voice, the warmth of your touch,
so many little things that make me love you so much.
The way you support me, and help with my emotions,
the way that you care and show such devotion.

The way that your kiss, fills me with desire,
and how you hold me with the warmth of a blazing fire.
The way your eyes shine when you look at me,
lost with you forever is were I want to be.

The way that I feel when you're by my side,
a sense of completion and overflowing pride.
The dreams that I dream, that all involve you,
the possibilities I see and the things we can do.

How you finish the puzzle that lies inside my heart,
how that deep in my soul, you are the most important part.
I could go on for days, telling of what I feel,
but all you really must know is my love for you is real.

does that answer "why"?kiss

RE: your favorite last 3 movies you have are

The Blues Brothers
Walt Disney's Jungle Book
The Godfather trilogy

RE: What's the answer????

hes a dog, harry needs a trip down to the aquarium as sara is a goldfish and the glass is the fishbowl

RE: Have men become less confident?

I guess the older men get the more ingrained into the theory that they are less desirable.
In days of old, when cavemen were bold, only the strongest and the fittest survived.

So when the belt has to be loosened a notch, and the hairdresser takes less time each visit, the ego can be a little more fragile.

Unless of course you dont actually care about rejection in which case it doesnt matter.

As a shy wallflower, I am in fear of not rejection, but the fact that a woman will say yes!!
Then I have to start playing the game.
I enjoy the company of women for who they are. I enjoy the different perspective, the breaking down of stereotypical attitudes, and then the openness that comes from realising that men and women can be freinds without agendas.

RE: I think my libido ...

What about a tall leather dressed motorbiker turning up at your place of work!!! grin

RE: what killed love or does it live

Ahh, it does sound like you are not a very good housekeeper.

Every divorce you had, you didnt keep the house!grin

RE: Undermining American Civilization...?

When you are in the British Judicial system, you are asked to swear on your own holy book.

Why not when being sworn into a position of trust?

Next the agitated conservative right wing politicians and bloggers will be complaining about undermining American civilisation by speaking Arabic at a Muslim convention!

Where will it end?

Are the right wingers so paranoid that they think that there is such a thing as an American civilisation? The US as a civilisation is only a baby compared to others. Your society is ever-changing. With the influx of Europeans, Latins & others, there will never be a stationary "civilisation"

I can say the same about my own society. Its only 1500 years old, also a teenager when compared to the Egyptians and the Chinese and many others, that I have no knowledge of.

How can I complain about the dilution of the WASP in the UK, when the influx of Asians actually adds grace and tolerance to an increasingly graceless and intolerant society.

RE: sometimes i wonder

I used to think that.

Paranoia will destroy ya!

But it makes sense. On another site I used to be on, I would always get a message from a real hottie just as my subscription expired.

How cynical!

RE: Younger man

Thats why your daughter and I get on so well, she is 12, and I have the same mental age.

That is of course until she gives the "eyebrow"

Then I am sitting in the corner with the pair of you looking at me in "that" way!

RE: Personal Skills Needed

OMFG!!! [spits out all the coffee ... sits down really, really heavily]

its not just the catholic girl's mind that I love!! wink

Although it does have a certain something!!!

RE: Younger man

Well I have the mental age of someone who's 15 years old, does that count?grin

RE: All I want for Christmas

All I want for Christmas, is my two front teeth!grin

RE: Personal Skills Needed

Well, as a finely tuned athlete, who doesnt drink, I can honestly preach the qualities of sobrietyprofessor

My body is a temple!!!

I just dont have anybody praying at it, thats all!doh

RE: Have men become less confident?

Catch anyone in the right mood and everyone is up for a little harmless flirting.

If the signals are there then it carries on from there.

Patience is the key.

If you are prepared to wait a little, then you will find out what it is that the other person wants.

I have fun at work by flirting with "mature" ladies. Its all harmless, and they love the entertainment as much as I do.

But the lines are drawn and understood by both parties.

At a social even where "recreational substances" are involved, the lines are a little fuzzier.

But taking no for an answer is a good way of not getting a stalker label.

RE: The role of uncertainty in life

... to be consistantly inconsistant is the only thing that is a constant comfort.

Certainly, uncertainty is a joy to keep us on our toes, however as long as it can be a regular irregularity, then it forces us to think outside the box to form and improve upon our "on-the-spot" decision makin processes.

RE: Who's Snowed In?

no snow here.

12 degrees C and sunny until 4pm, then windier than the result of an indian takeaway.!!!

Now blowing a gale, and they even shut the local suspension bridge!

RE: Did you know?

out of the mouths of babes .... kiss

RE: Did you know?

The majority of the OPs threads I disagree with. But only a few do I really get my hands dirty with.

Thank you for posting what is obviously a balanced, relatively informed, non-biased view.

RE: If You Were The Eighth Dwarf ...what would your name be???

I always thought 7up was a drink until I heard that a virgin lived in a forest with 7 old men who spend all day working in a diamond mine!

RE: Did you know?

Sir, I applaud you. applause

RE: Sigh O Nar Uh

Hasta la vista baby!!!grin

RE: What you stand for in your life?

To laugh 24 hours of every day, and practice tolerance!

I just need a little more practice!

RE: Did you know?

All of these figures that you quote are from a source that is renowned for "expanding" the truth.

The British people dont want the "war" anymore than any sane American.

Tony Blair went to war illegally. Fact

George W. Bush is the greatest threat to world peace, there is.

Anyone who blindly accepts that Bush listens to God, and that God told him to go to war, needs to take the same meds that Bush should be on.

Diplomacy would always be better than war. But as the motives nor the measurable objectives of this war are not clear, how can anyone support to of the world's biggest war criminals by saying they are doing the right thing?

The world's perception of the US govt is one of a bullying big brother who, if he doesnt like the game, takes all the toys away.

But to do it, he needs his uncle John Bull to keep the pesky Euros in line, because they are the ones with all the financial support of all his grand ideas!

doh

Get all of your young men and women and our young men and women out of there, make sure they get proper medical treatment for mind and body, and then let the Arabs and the Persians do what they do best ... sort it out themselves.

Oh! but wait .. Dubya wont let that happen as the toys that the little boys have include black sticky stuff that Dubya dont have!

mumbling

Im so glad that Dubya has a limited shelf-life!

The Blues is a stunning type of music.

I play the sax, and I love playing blues.

Just learning Harlem Nocturne.

Just my favourite type of music.
