En fait les deux/trois amies que je me suis faites ici a CS elles ont aussi maintenant trouvé quelqu'un... Je ne poste pas trop de messages ici sur le forum international parce qu'il y a beaucoup trop de disputes entre membres mais c'est beaucoup plus calme dans le forum européen... Si tu veux venir dire bonjour ça serait sympa...

Thank you... English is my third language. Spanish mother tongue... Spanish/French brought up.

I guess I'd better dispell the myth from my earlier post about only eating chocolate... ohhh and lamb! I like to cook (when I don't have to) anything and everything as long as it doesn't have celery in it!

I am so surprised and speechless with admiration as to how on earth CS managed to keep going for so long... before such wise - obviously very learned - and fantastic humourist joined to become one of its most valued members....

Me I was a late developper ... I worked my socks off learning English for a good 9 years before all the jumbled up words that made no sense suddenly all fell into place ...

I don't think English being an easy language has anything to do with why it's spoken by so many...
Just off the top of my head...
The British Empire was pretty large...
The Industrial Revolution happened in UK first... >>> expension of business and language at same time...
Settlers in USA and OZ were Enlish speaking...


I'm sure there are many more reasons but with 340 something irregular verbs that don't follow any given pattern and so many words that are spelled with same letter pattern but have different sound OR words that are spelled the same but said differently thereby meaning something different...
There ain't no way English is an easy language if you wanna talk it proper like!
But I've got over it coz I'm just sooooo clever!
