I have taken in hundreds of homeless people and I still take them in. Last Wednesday I received a call from an aquaintance who had come across a woman in need. I went to meet her. She is 22 and has a 6 month old son and is 4 months pregnant. The father of her children left her for another woman. She came home to her parents house. Stayed there a short while. Her father just kicked her out "because the baby cries too much". She and her son are living with me now and she calls me her new mom. She shows much appreciation and respect.
I have learned to love unconditionally, each and every one who has blessed me with their presence. Some only came for a night. Some for several months. Some were greatful and some were downright RUDE and cursed me. I pray for them, that their souls will be saved. The KEY... No one has to meet my expectations! The TEST is MINE, not theirs. Do I live a selfless life or am I selfish? All I have is not my own, it belongs to GOD. If it gets stolen, they stole it from HIM. He always gives me more! I am only a storehouse. I hold on loosely to things, waiting for someone to bless and give them to.
Family and friends fear that something will happen to me by taking in the "WRONG" person. I have NO FEAR! All people were created by GOD. No one is any better than the other. Many have lost their way. I will help them find it, if asked. I am merely a stepping stone on the path of LIFE. Enjoy your journey!

Sounds like you both really need to get to KNOW Jesus! He gives unmeasurable amounts of JOY! I was on nerve pills and anti-depressants from 12 yrs old until I was 36 yrs old. I met Jesus at that time and have never taken another pill since. I don't even take asprin.
Your diet contributes greately to your moods. Read "Good Food, Good Mood" by Gary Null. It will help you greatly.
Also, amino acids give the nutrition your brain needs. Do a search on amino acid therapy. This sounds like a good answer, but alchol depleats the brain of the necessary nutrients it needs, causing an imbalance, or the need for "medications". which in fact cause further imbalance. Don't use a bandaid to treat a "symptom". Get to the root of the cause and be truely healed!

The gas prices are just totally rediculous and uncalled for!!! But what can we do to bring them down?

I live in a very small town, so I am riding my bike, in protest.

It sure did hurt to put $10 worth of gas in the can for the lawnmower... didn't even get 4 gallons!

Guess if I had a horse, he could eat the grass so I wouldn't need to mow!

Surrender Freedom For Security

You are absolutely right, Hennery! There shall be no end to government opression if any of us trade our freedom for security. The latter part of my last comment reflects this: "One more 9/11-style attack will probably mean the end of whatever freedom is left. NSA is in control, they make the decisions. I agree with you. Give me liberty or give me death! I wonder if the American people are aware of the freedoms that have been stripped away from us, without our vote or our knowledge. I have posted a Blog with this same title, "Surrender Freedom for Security". Everyone should read it so they will know what Mr. Bush did when he enacted the "Patriot Act" last October.

I couldn't agree with you more. I have been a truck driver for 21 years. I haul produce from California to New York City. The migrant workers who work in the fields, out in the hot sun, day after day, for a place to live for their family and very little pay, do it because no "white boy" will. If people think they are taking their jobs, I am sure that if they apply, the farms would be glad to hire them. I don't see the white folks beating down the doors to get hired! Some of the dock workers are also mexicans and they work very hard.
I also lived in Texas, where the concrete workers are mexicans. I got a white boy a job with them, and he couldn't hack it. The sun was too hot for him, he couldn't hold up. The mexicans work in the heat all day and never complain. They are greatful to have a job. They are courteous and treat you with respect. They are very family oriented and good people.
I believe they are getting bad publicity so the government can justify the over 800 prison camps being built in the U.S. by Halliburton, equiped with gas chambers or incinerators. The govt says they are building them for the illeagle aliens. Hogwash! We do not have that many illeagles here!!!
Also, if you look at the mexicans, in some you can see the spanish bloodline, but others have the indian bloodline. Many of these "Mexicans" are truely of Indian descent, chased across the boarder into Mexico by the white man, as he settled into America, killing off the inhabitants who were here first. The spanish were here before the English. The spanish discovered the "New World". The English were very ruthless and violent, when they came here to conquor this land. It was greed then and its greed now, still at work in this nation. I get really tired of all of this anti-immigration talk. Only the Indians and Spanish would be here, if the rest of the world had not immigrated to America. They were here first. We should be ashamed to tell them they can not come here. We have given the indians federal money and allow them to have their own tribal governments. We have done nothing for the spanish decendants who were abused by the white man. Maybe it's their turn! People need to read their history books and then ask forgiveness for thinking they are "superior".

I have read articles on this and I believe it would be pretty narrow minded of us to think that we humans are the only race with any type of intelligence.
There are many mysteries in the world of which we live in. I can not say for sure at this time. I have an enquiring mind tho and I do want to know. I will research it.
I have not seen the movie, "They Live". I will see if I can find it.
Many movies that are put out as Sci-Fi do somehow seem to ring true. ...Could be.

We are able to post threads in this category to share what we believe, concerning issues in our world. I for one, would NEVER consider dating anyone who does not have the same political viewpoint as I do. These are very important matters in a relationship.
I also believe that for a relationship to work, you should be friends first. I am one who DOES state in her profile that I am here to make friends and hangout. I also state in it, that I am here mainly for the forums. I do not want a bunch of men of whom I have nothing in common, knocking down my door. Instead, I intend to build friendships and aquaintences by reading and posting to the forums. There is no better way to find out how a person really feels about the most important issues in life. Political viewpoints, Religious beliefs, humor, eating habits, are all revealed thru the forums. I have known men and women who will tell you anything, one on one, their talk will tickle your ears and you will think, "Where have you been all my life"? It seems too good to be true. And it is. When they hook you and you join your lives together, you find out that they told you what you wanted to hear, not what they really believed. (Just like the politicians, LOL) I don't intend to be fooled again! I will get to know someone by watching them express themselves thru their writings. That will attract my heart, Knowing what a man is really made of, in his heart and in his mind. We all desire feedback and comformation of what we ourselves are observing and believing.
Those of us who listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, are instructed what to post here. God knows what is happening and getting ready to happen in the world. He sends forth His messengers to prepare the people so they will be ready.
This is not an attack on you, Kieyotie. I read your comments regularly and I think you are cool. I agree with lots of what you say. I just want people to know MY reason for not looking for a date. Maybe others feel the same way. I'm taking my time.

All of Congress do not receive the same CIA briefing as the President. This was reflected in the 9/11 Commission Report. The briefing the President received in the mornings, all of the info could not be revealed due to "National Security". It was not allowed to be shared with the committee, only certain members of Congress, handpicked by the President, were allowed this info. And this was durring the investigation. On a daily basis, this information is NOT shared with our Congress members. The Bush Administration does many things in secret, using the "cover up" of "National Security". This President continues to try to keep Congress "in the dark" and do as he wishes, not what the American people desire. He's the DECIDER!

When things are so obvious that even Todo can figure it out and expose what's behind the curtain, revealing it to all who dare to look, it makes you wonder how it is possible not to "see"!?! They are in DENIAL. I pray they will open up their eyes and that God will illuminate their minds with wisdom, that they will know so it doesn't sneek up behind them and bite them!!! He won't read it. He suffers from OS!!! There are many government archives available to us. You read them, I read them, many read them. I read the documents in the Library of Congress. They are the genuine article. How can people continue to run their heads against those of us who read and are informed, as if we don't know what we are talking about? They never research anything but they have a mouthful to say against those who are messengers of truth. They need to spend some time sitting on an egg and take a look around!

"Behold A Pale Horse" was written by William Cooper. I have the book. It is excellent! He has first hand information from his own experience working with the government. He exposed them and their dirty little secrets so they murdered him.
Those who are in "denial" have OS (ostrich syndrome). They stick their heads in a hole in the ground and don't see what is happening around them, therefore they believe it doesn't exist. This does not nullify the fact that it does exist.

Clinton WAS impeached, just not removed from office.
Bush did a whole lot more than just start a war. He is guilty of Treason as well as committing war crimes amongst others.
All the stink about the firing of the U.S. Attorneys is so they can gather the evidence needed to round up the entire Bush Administration. There are currently inditements for every member. Those who don't see the full picture do not read enough or investigate these matters. It's a massive tangled web with so much more to it than what meets the eye!
