Not exactly what I meant, but yes, try to be true to yourself, at least to begin with. Individuality should always be our aim, in fact even within a relationship, individuality is just as important. The greatest gift we can bring to a relationship, is to stand guard over our partners right to their individuality.
The murders can't be explained by controversial cartoons, or condemned on free speech grounds, only by the madness of the murderers. Most murderers believe in some sort of rationale, all we need say is unprovoked mass slaughter is wrong. We need to move away from the idea that religion and free speech are inherently at odds,they are not. Or that there is major conflict between Islam and the west, there isn't.
What happened was a crime, not a statement, not a controversy, not a war. This is what the extremists want us to believe, and that is regardless of which side of the extremist fence you sit on.

This is my third profile, my first was back in 2007 for about three months. Decided to change the name to bodleing. Then last year the mods deleted my profile because I posted from Uganda. Thanks to a member on here who contacted them for me, they apologised and re-instated me as bodleing2....
I did the Baja Daze trip with them in 2009, it was great fun. A friend of mine has traveled a few times with them, he did the coast to coast this year, said it was the best trip he's ever been on, he did the southern loop, although I was advised by a friend of mine from Missouri who travels a lot, that the northern loop looks more interesting. Maybe you could do one this year, and the other next year...
Check out Green Tortoise Tours. They do a coast to coast trip from Boston to San Francisco, or the other way round, San Fran to Boston. All off the beaten track, you'll see some amazing places, make some good friends and it's really good value for money. They do a Northern route or you can take the Southern route. I'm sure the coast to coast trips leave in September and are around two weeks in duration.
