RE: do every human in this world dislike Irish travelers ???

The town where I live has had 'Traveler' problems for years now. Fortunately of late we have seen little of them. But when they do arrive we all know what's going to happen...and it's not pleasant.
People don't have to be robbers, rapists or murderers to cause social disruption to those around them. Just having no regard or respect for those around them and the environment they live in is enough to make people dislike them.

RE: do every human in this world dislike Irish travelers ???

Anyone who has experienced Irish Travelers moving into their locality would certainly soon dislike their presence!

uh oh

RE: do every human in this world dislike Irish travelers ???

Not read the thread, just the op.

But I'm not particularly fond of, or welcoming to people, wherever they may be from, who turn up next to, or in close proximity to my home and show no respect or consideration to the people they have moved in amongst.
Whenever this has happened near me,(too man times times to mention,) those people were always Irish Travelers.

It would be fair to say, I'm never too pleased to see them arrive outside my door...quite pleased to see them leave a few weeks later though...yay

RE: Where's God?

Ok, but I think both statements are equally misguided.

RE: Where's God?

Take your pick...dancing

RE: Where's God?

That is as ridiculous as saying there is a god.

RE: Where's God?

Indeed...maybe god is love.

peace

RE: Where's God?

I don't, the same as I don't know there isn't. No one can know, or prove with words, the existence of a supreme being. If you believe, that is your own belief, your own relationship with god...it cannot be shared, proved, or even debated. That is all mind stuff, you will just go round in circles.

RE: Where's God?

How would you know that with any certainty?

RE: what does your country look like on the map ?

RE: Where's God?

The greatest barrier to finding 'god' is the very word itself and the image it conjures up.

Even many top theologians have stated, the greatest way to find god, is to accept you cannot know god.

Many times it has been said, god is beyond the thinking mind, you can't find god with the thinking mind, you have to go beyond that and look within.

RE: what does your country look like on the map ?

You can't post a pic on this thread, only picture threads and polls allow pics to be posted.

RE: download videos

Yes I was trying to point out that you can upload your own video on youtube, then load it on here.

But it didn't work at first, never had to take the 's' out before.

Thanks again...hug

RE: The Death Penalty !!

Well personally I can relate to the quote of his I posted. It matters not to me who made the quote, what is meaningful to me is my perceived truth in what lies within.

RE: The Death Penalty !!

" I counsel you, my friends: Distrust all in whom the impulse to punish is powerful."

Friedrich Nietzsche

RE: what is the opposite to psychosis...?

The opposite of fear is love, the opposite of delusional is awareness.

The "higher consciousness" you talk of is within us all and part of us all. Attaining it is another matter, in fact most of us spend most of our lives in, at least, a mild state of psychosis.

RE: The Death Penalty !!

"Resist not evil."

Possibly the truest words ever spoken.

RE: please love to know the birth date of cs........

I think it was around 2005.

RE: Yourself please

RE: The Most Important Question You Can Ask Yourself Today

Indeed...that would suggest there are two of you...grin

RE: The Most Important Question You Can Ask Yourself Today

Why am I talking to myself?

dunno

RE: are women worse drvers than men ???

From my experience women drivers appear to be less considerate than men. I have to pull out onto a main road most days in the busy morning period. I have to rely on a considerate driver to allow me to pull out, almost always it's a male driver who shows some consideration and allows me to pull out onto the main road.

Not being judgemental here, just an observation.

A few pics from this my Easter weekend.

Hi galrads, this is indeed true...messed the title of the thread up though...doh
