I think it sucks when people join a site like this, put no effort into it whatsoever, don't come on the forums or even on the site for weeks on end, then b!%@h because the women/men of the world are not beating a path to their door.

You get out of anything what you put into it. If you put as little effort into making a relationship work as you put into looking for one, no wonder!

Legally separated doesn't mean schit in my book. They need to be completely divorced, no entanglements left, as little contact with the ex as possible. Any ongoing relationship with an ex puts them off-limits for me. Don't need the drama.

Divorced, prefrerably for more than a few months.

Widowed, def more than a few months, probably more like a year or two.

Some people don't give themselves enough time to heal, and I'm not a bandaid.

Married, nope, nada, never, ain't changing my mind about that so don't try. Separated, see me when it's over, really over, and then take a few months off.

I'm emotionally available, expect my partner to be also. Is that too much to ask?

Didn't say I wouldn't answer them. I'll talk to anyone. And especially if I've gotten to know them already here. But if all they want is my email addy right off the bat, well, I'm a little more cautious than that.

If their only reason is that they're self-conscious about what they look like, they need to work on that. I really don't care what anyone looks like, as long as they don't. People with a complex about their looks need to grow up in my book.

I've seen some people on here who have pics and then pull them, and they looked fine to me. I don't understand why they're ashamed of their looks/ It's just a part of who you are, but people shouldn't be ashamed of themselves.

That's what I usually think. Some I've gotten to know on the forums and decided they're ok, but when I get an email from someone with no pic that I've never talked to I am immediately suspicious. And I'm not going to give them my email to send a pic, they can be scammers or who knows what kind of freak.

Some people get mad cause others won't talk to them without a pic, but I don't care. If you won't show your face, I can't be bothered. It'd be like talking to someone with a bag over their head. If ya ain't got nothing to hide, don't hide.

You're way too yound and cute not to get the attention of every creep on here luv. Just be particular about who you talk to, and ignore the ones you don't want to. That's what we've got a block button for.

I am cooking supper as we speak. Something I made up, then found out is has a name, arroz con pollo. Mexican chicken and rice, only I didn't even follow their recipe, it's sauteed chicken, onions, rice, tomatoes with peppers, and cheese on top. Yummmm, it's smelling good!

That came to me one night when I was mad as hell at someone, but didn't want to talk about it, I just wanted to make some noise without being heard, if that makes any sense.

Actually they do have a policy, they're just pretty lax about it. If you have a pic as your main pic that does not have your face, they'll take it down and substitute another of yours if you leave it up. But you can put whatever you want up temporarily, cause they don't check them continuously.

Now I don't know about the dog pics, some people seem to be able to leave them up, maybe the mods think they're really that ugly!

My best friend knows everything about me, and still loves me.

I've known her over 20 years, there have been times when we haven't talked for weeks for whatever reason, too much going on, then can take right back up where we left off, really don't even have to fill in the blanks. We've been there for each other through problems with kids, husbands, etc., and I know I can tell her anything, and usually get a laugh out of it. I don't have to explain myself, or justify my feelings, and she with me. We accept each other, and there are very few people in the world I can say that about.
