Anna, I am over 8 yrs off them and I would not dream of smoking one. I loved my cigarette and would draw the smoke straight into my toes especially when doing paperwork. I don’t think the craving ever goes away!
Open up your door I can't see your face no more Love is so hard to find And even harder to define Oh, open up your door Cos we've time to give And I'm feeling it so much more Open up the door Open up your door Open up the door I can't hear your voice no more I just want to make you smile Maybe stay with you awhile Oh, open up your door Cos we've time to give And my feelings aren't so obscure Open up the door Open up your door So open up the door Cos we've time to give And I'm feeling it so much more Open up your door Oh, open up your door Love is so hard to find And even harder to define Oh, open up your door And I've never been so sure Oh, open up your door Open up your door Songwriters: Richard Willis Hawley
Apart from the (pretence) that goes on in the first few weeks of a new relationship, birds and animals do it too.... I think when you love someone you will find their awful jokes, funny, their imperfections, perfect... If you have found that special person then you will make every effort to grow the relationship otherwise they will feel unwanted and move on... hopefully they are feeling the same about you!
Apart from the love between a mother and child, there is no such thing as unconditional love. It is impossible for something to exist without attached conditions.
When you start out looking for a partner, you have already formed an image of that someone which is unique to everyone. You are drawn to a certain body type. A certain type of personality. A certain intellect. Smoker, druggie, drinker, obese may be out of the equation... you have done this before you even start. When you meet someone you fall for it is because they satisfies many parts of you and you feel happy and complete and that other person is feeling the same within them... selfish is a term used quiet loosely in my post!
Yes! Unconditional love for a child, you want to kill them (term of endearment) at times but you don’t!! Yes! There needs to be a lot of respect in relationships..
Great description.... a romantic couple drunk on happiness. Both having their desires met. Yes! We carry too many fears as we get older. We should love with all our heart when we find that person that makes us feel insane!
I believe that Love is a desire to make us completely perfect, our individual perfect. Almost elusive; most will say. You meet someone and fall in love because they are so perfect, even more than perfect, as far as we are concerned, they make us feel so happy and they complete us. So happy that we would do almost anything for them. It is human nature for us to portray the best of who we are when we first start dating and we often fall in love with that image “our hopeful concept”. Then after a few months we relax and the real us emerge! For instance, we might like our space and the other person wants our time. We may want to be wined and dined in the same style but going forward that would not be financially possible etc etc.... this can cause disappointment and one of the parties may feel rejected. Communication and give and take, at this point, can make two people completely whole...... but the reality is life happens and gets in the way, often the bickering because he won’t do nice things as often or control because she needs to fit into a certain mould...
Love is defined as an emotion of strong affection and personal attachment.
We love people who make us feel good about ourselves, makes us feel all fuzzy inside and that make us happy. So, just for our personal happiness and the feelings they instill in us, we love others. If they don’t fulfill our desires we will become upset and we start to think, “if only they ........ “ or we subtly try to change the other person to fit our desires, failing that, we move on... selfish isn’t all bad, it is fear which kills love!
My life is brilliant My love is pure I saw an angel Of that I'm sure She smiled at me on the subway She was with another man But I won't lose no sleep on that 'Cause I've got a plan You're beautiful You're beautiful You're beautiful, it's true I saw your face in a crowded place And I don't know what to do 'Cause I'll never be with you Yes, she caught my eye As we walked on by She could see from my face that I was Flyin' high And I don't think that I'll see her again But we shared a moment that will last till the end You're beautiful You're beautiful You're beautiful, it's true I saw your face in a crowded place And I don't know what to do 'Cause I'll never be with you La-la-la-la La-la-la-la La-la-la-la, la You're beautiful You're beautiful You're beautiful, it's true There must be an angel with a smile on her face When she thought up that I should be with you But it's time to face the truth I will never be with you Songwriters: Amanda Ghost / James Blount / Sacha Skarbek
I have an outdoor cat who sleeps in the shed! Never had any issues with rats or mice. The cat will sometime deliver a dead one as a gift. There is a hedgehog in the garden and lives happily with the cat!
