I believe, as a former top model, she emits class and style. To the fashion industry she is worth millions. The outfit she wore for the inauguration day was a huge hit on the high street. She also tends to wear the fashions of the designers of the countries she is visiting. The fashion and textile industry who experienced hardship during the recession will appreciate her. I don’t believe Hilary had the same impact!

Great thread as it affects everyone at some time Relationships are very complicated because love is a very selfish emotion; it is all about how WE feel as an individual and the benefits we get out of being in a relationship There is no truer statement than it’s not about you, it’s about me. We want someone in our life because we love the feelings we experience when we are in a relationship with that other person If both people feel the same that is great. However, we want that other person out of our life when that feeling has gone and we have sought it elsewhere As humans, the main thing that leaves us heartbroken is rejection and not the person that has departed the relationship. It is difficult for us to accept that they have discarded us and decided that their life is so much better without us wonderful people in it . Rejection is a very powerful emotion and the pain and hurt it renders can leave us paralised In the simplest form, wish your ex well and deal with the rejection.

In the UK, Unemployment Benefit has been known by the slang term 'the dole' since WWI. This derives from the 'doling out', that is, 'handing out' of charitable gifts of food or money. This dates back to at least 1919, when it was recorded in The Daily Mail:

"You won't draw your out-of-work dole of 29s. this week."
