Hi Everybody... I posted this on another thread about using pickup lines...
I once went up to an incredibly good looking guy (Greek Adonis type) who had been standing by himself at the edge of the dance floor for about half an hour and asked him ...
"Do you just stand around and look good all night or do you actually dance?"
We danced the rest of the night and dated for about 6 months after.
I do approach men that I'm interested in, and I also compliment them. It's amazing how many of them say they have never had a women, they didn't know, give them a compliment.
There is nothing like sitting on the beach watching the sun slip beneath the sea... painting the clouds with a myriad of beautiful colors... but I also love the sunrise as I'm walking home with friends after a good night out.

I'm sorry for your loss, I lost a cousin under similar circumstances several years ago. The last words his girlfriend said to him were word of anger and she was devastated she hadn't had the opportunity to take them back. All of his friends and family questioned ourselves... why hadn't we seen it, what could we have done... senseless questions after the fact.
The loss of my cousin and the near loss of my brother were an awakening for me... none of us have a guarantee of tomorrow... what you want to do... do now.
It was this that inspired me to sell everything I owned, turn my back on a successful business, and start traveling and really experiencing my life. Appreciating all the little day to day things, giving hugs and saying "I love you".
Thank You for sharing with us, sometimes we need a reminder...
No GNDM, you know I would never imply anything with you, I have way to much respect for your intelligence... even though we don't always agree. I was referring to the same post you were, and agreeing with you.
Don't you just love Snope... refreshing to have a site that lists several sources for their info.
yes, as have many others! This same person actually accused me and Rasgumby of being the same person! So now... you, me and falling man are probably going to be accused of being the same person as well... wonder how many more profiles I can add?
I have not been to Cuba and so I really don't have an opinion one way or the other on Castro... What we have to remember is that the system before him wasn't great or there would not have been an uprising. Many of the people who left... were the wealthy who had oppressed their countrymen and lost everything, and of course the boatloads of criminals Castro sent over.
After being in Nicaragua and listening to people who had lived under the Sandinista Govt and said it was a good system, until U.S. funded the Contras, and seeing the mess the country is in now... I question what we learn and the information we are given .
I'm not a communist and I don't think it's right that the govt seized the assets of families who had worked hard for what they had, but there was also a strong criminal element who were put out of power as well.
There are 2 sides and I understand Castro is loved by many, and hated by many... bit like any other world leader.
Well you may be right, I've done a lot of things in my life that some would call stupid and I've been lucky... I can sit here able to tell the stories and relive the adrenaline rushes and know that when I go to my grave I won't be saying... I wish I would have... I'd have like to have seen...
When I was in Iowa I was eating in a restaurant and there were 9 tornados hitting within a 4 mile radius... everyone was huddled in a hallway in the middle of the restaurant...where was the crazy woman from California?... At the front door with a camera trying to get a picture!
Thanks!!! I would have loved to have been there... but no one invited me
'scuse me for hijaking... back to the subject... I have ended 3 relationship with wonderful men for very stupid reasons, if I had the opportunity to see them again I probably would... But I don't think anything would come of it, people grow and change... it's hard to go back.
Well if it isn't the Rusty and Lago comic duo! Fancy meeting you boys here, sounds like you had a great time at you party! Marivanna, I haven't met you... but good morning.
RE: Guys. . . . . how do you feel about
