From what I have observed, I don't think either country is happier---Sweden vs USA. I lived in both countries.
There are many different lists of the "happiest countries in the world", but I don't pay much attention to them to be honest since that is really hard to measure. I can only go by my own observations. I only said that religious Americans are not happier than non-religious Swedes---meaning neither is happier than the other.
I don't think spirituality and religion are two entirely different beliefs. Both require faith in something---although that something will vary from a Native person to a Christian to a person with self-spirituality. The main thing, is that there is purpose and meaning in both of them. So I tend to not see a huge distinction at the root, but certainly there are major differences. A religious person is spiritual, and a the religion of "no religion" is also spiritual---meaning those who are spiritual.
Weather reports from the day of the birds falling out of the sky. No storms, no tornadoes,no hail---and these black birds don't fly up so high in the sky during winter from what I understand. So the weather was not a cause.
I think they should have broadened that study, and substituted spiritual for religious. Not to say that a person devoid of any spirituality is not happy. Here in Sweden, 90 percent of Swedes are non-religious, and I can certainly say that religious Americans are no more happier than non-religious Swedes.
Something is screwed up with the eco system in Arkansas. All these dead fish and dead birds, within 125 miles of each other. I posted a related link about the dead fish covering a 20-mile stretch of that Arkansas river on Facebook last night. I don't know much besides the speculations surrounding Ozark and lead in that area. Do you know more about this lilmamma? Any angles here as to this particular species of fish?
Yep. That wikileaks story about the bees made me furious when I saw it a few weeks ago. Anyways, I think there is way more to this story. I've heard some rumors that this happened somewhere in South America as well, but I could not find any confirmation for that.
This happened in two different confirmed locations, so it has to be something in the air, and why these birds are only affected is still beyond me right now.
"Tap water from 31 of 35 U.S. cities tested contains hexavalent chromium (or chromium-6), the carcinogenic “Erin Brockovich chemical,” according to laboratory tests commissioned by Environmental Working Group (EWG)"
Well, Rowe said (taken from both links) "It's important to understand that a sick bird can't fly. So whatever happened to these birds happened very quickly. It does not appear as though the birds were poisoned. Since it only involved a flock of blackbirds and only involved them falling out of the sky, it is unlikely they were poisoned, but a necropsy is the only way to determine if the birds died from trauma or toxin."
So that does seem highly unlikely, but this case is still wide open since the testing has not been finished yet. Almost 5,000 birds, all at once? Weird.
I checked the weather report in Beebe, Arkansas the night this happened. No storm, no lightning and no hail. And if these birds were at such a high altitude, how high would they have to be? I just read up on them a bit, they are pretty low to the ground during winter from what I have read so far. So that may rule them out at being at such high altitudes. If I'm wrong, correct me please. So whatever this Rowe is saying in her initial knee-jerk reaction guess, is dead wrong.
After this local news report about this, the person who recorded the news segment decided to show us chemtrails or contrails in the sky. Was there a point to this?
Now let's move into the unthinkable. Say things got real bad in America and Europe, and a resistance was formed against the "Redcoats". See where I am going with this?
No worries though! "Every means for spying on the public by authorities and authoritatives can be used to counter-spy. Every means to data gather, collect and analyze can be used to counter-spy, disperse, store, distribute and retrieve contraband information."
My new favorite show Jessie Ventura and Big Brother!!! He raises some good thought provoking questions. Speculation, I'm not selling this as facts, use your own minds---not mine :-)
Personally, I don't mind since I can care less, but I know many people who are furious about their online privacy being compromised---like a simple email exchange between two friends. To be honest, government monitoring worries me, and Thomas Jefferson would agree lol! In any case, I like connecting with other people online, so score one for the digital age.
Bear in mind this: "Every means for spying on the public by authorities and authoritatives can be used to counter-spy. Every means to data gather, collect and analyze can be used to counter-spy, disperse, store, distribute and retrieve contraband information."
More than 1,000 blackbirds fall out of Arkansas sky
Huh? I wasn't offended, I asked to just cite your source, and I said please Maybe I should have said pretty please with sugar on top lol! It's all cool, it's hard to offend me, but I do want cold hard facts!!!
