And here lies the problem with people of today. Very few are not taught manners. They treat others with callousness and disrespect. I blame the parents. Big idiots, raise little idiots. By your actions you show others who you are and how your parents raised you. You are a representative of your family.

Fear, another reason. What if the change makes it all better? But, they will never know because of the fear of change. You have to get over the fear of the unknown. Thinking it will only be worse is self defeating thinking. That type of person will always be trapped where they are, sad!

A small flaw to you, may be a large flaw to somone else. Yes, we do need to work on and change the flaws we don't like in ourselves. To hear someone always blaming others for their lot in lfe, and not doing anything to change it is a real turnoff to me. And a flaw I do not want to deal with in my life. Been there, done that. Never again.

I don't agree with that Rilly. The knowledge to change is there for all. They choose not to change because they live in their commfort zone. To change is too scary for them. Again, their choice.

This reminds me of a lady that I work with. She blames the three different men she banged for giving her her three kids and how she needs welfare to support them. HELLO! You are the one who allowed them. That is what I told her too. Everyone in the department clapped. One lady said, "Finally, someone with the guts to tell her the truth!" She quit several days later for recieving a level 3 discipline report for calling out 5 days in one month. Again, she blames the department head for being mean to her. Lady, there are rules to follow. If you don't follow them then there are consequences for your behavior! No job, and three kids and no dad to help raise them. Her choices.

YOU CAN"T BLAME OTHERS FOR YOUR CHOICE IN LIFE. He allowed what they said and did to affect him. I have seen wealthy kids go down that same path so your argument holds no weight, Rilly. We make our own choices in life. If we allow others to influence our decissions, then we are making that choice. I did not have a great upbringing. But, I'm not a drug dealer, nor have ever been arrested. Quit blaming others for your lot in life. The choices are yours!

Maybe instead of the junk, he could buy a piece of fruit. Cost about the same. People are fat because of poor choices and lack of education, which is their choice also, not lack of money. I don't think the banker is in a very good light right now. Apple and orange, around 66 cents for both. Water, free. See what I mean!
