I think you missed my point here. In the states this happens alot. Women now find themselves alone and having to do something with their lives. It is not that she is a victim, but she has found herself in a new set of circumstances and changes need to be made.

Do you think it is not so much guts as it is done with no other choice? The woman stayed home, raised the kids, they are gone. Husband left for a younger tart. Where does that leave the woman, to fend for herself. Changes need to be made. Changes that are welcomed, you finally have a life! Me, I'm getting ready to make those changes to be with someone. It is scary. It does take guts, but SHE is worth it. Her flame burns hot in my heart!

My god, do you see where this corporate designed, media driven, compulsory holiday has lead us? We now have to find some dude a valentine because he can't find one himself. And if we find some girl to say be my valentine, well what does that mean? Nothing. Sorry to rain on your parade, this holiday creates too much pressure and depression on people. I have let this holiday disappear from my life. It is meaningles.
