I find it hard to believe that the God of the Bible is the true representation of God. People say that the God of the Bible is a God of peace, when the Hebrew sciptures portray him using violent acts to destroy humans. Raining fire down on cities. Killing the first born sons of another nation. Telling the Isrealites to go into the land he gave them and to wipe out everyone, and not let their eyes feel sorry for them. Wiping out millions by drowning them. How can you call him a God of peace and ignore his violent acts? I don't get it.
I think it's a turn off if the the drunk becomes violent and beats the woman. I've never had alot of respect for overly intoxicated people. Alcohol makes okay people do stupid things.
Ask them, OMG they may say yes. If the answer is no, move on to the next one. Don't worry about the past. The future will come. Live in the present. Suck it up, and go for it.
