RE: US economy worse than Greece

It's a contradiction in terms to blame all the problems of the freemarket upon one man. Would you of allowed the banks to fail?

RE: How do you know your right partner?

That's a very good point. laugh

RE: How do you know your right partner?

She hates Germaine Greer.

RE: What book are you reading now?

The curious incident of the dog in the night-time by Mark Haddon

RE: When do you log on to ConnectingSingles?

When I need reminding that there's always someone worse off than myself.

RE: did they have to kill them?

Envy of the weak and the greed of the strong, no desire without suffering, it's all true. I agree with your view, however my view is that the war is symbolic of America's(and the rest of the West's)decline, a doomed grasp to be the players that we once were. I really don't see how we can win in Afghanistan.

RE: did they have to kill them?

What is the US really about?

Power seeks power, nothing new or anti-American about that.

RE: Do you like the French accent ?

Bravo thumbs up

RE: Did you know Albert Einstein actually believed in God

He did, but not god in the same sense as most people use the word god.

RE: Big Bang, inflation and the singularity

I'd say it is expanding, which ultimately suggests that it must retract aswell. I believe the universe will collapse into nothing eventually, subsequently followed by another big bang.

A life and death cycle that all matter conforms to.

RE: Working Not getting PAYED

People often don't get paid everything they are owed if that's what you mean? The fear of unemployment means business can often get away with this.

RE: Big Bang, inflation and the singularity

Haha, you and me both. beer

RE: ...TURKEY.....FORWARD & BACKWARD......

Turkey is actually highly significant to see if Democracy/consumer Capitalism and Islam will mesh.

RE: Big Bang, inflation and the singularity

It maybe that nature is god, I don't believe there is a Man-type benevolent figure in the sky. Essentially I agree with your postings.

RE: Big Bang, inflation and the singularity

DNA is a technical advancement, like our cavemen ancestors discovery of fire, from a spiritual point of view it leaves us none the wiser.

RE: Big Bang, inflation and the singularity

Absolutely, for me science poses the question what is 'god'? More than it does anything else.

RE: Big Bang, inflation and the singularity

That's the best part of science thumbs up

RE: Big Bang, inflation and the singularity

I'd like to see you argue science disproves religion to a Buddhist, personally I believe science adds weight to Buddhism.

I agree people then as now do see god as being cruel, people have often turned away from the idea of faith as a result of emotional reasoning and not rationality.

RE: Big Bang, inflation and the singularity

I agree with light speed not being completely constant, have a nice day.

RE: Big Bang, inflation and the singularity

The universe is still expanding now, the logic of which suggests it must have expanded from somewhere, a central point of sorts?

RE: Big Bang, inflation and the singularity

Science only changes the processes that we believe in. I don't think we are supposed to know the reason for the universe or our life, if we did we'd have nothing left to overcome.

Science doesn't defeat the concept of there being a god, but it does defeat the technicalities of many religious works.

Science is never a conclusion, i'm sure the scientific minds 100 years from now will look at today's scientists as being backward and wrong.

RE: positive thought

Couldn't disagree with you more, I think your actions define who you are.

RE: ain't no angel gonna greet me its just me and you my friend

It's a fantastic song.

RE: ain't no angel gonna greet me its just me and you my friend

Would that be Bruce Springsteen?

RE: The Great Myth Is Broken......

It would raise a few eyebrows, especially after qualifying with the handbrake fully on.

RE: The Great Myth Is Broken......

Women retire before we do, yet they live longer. No justice. moping

RE: Is this all there is ?

Everyone wants something better than what they already have, it's why people are unhappy.

Join Help 4 Heroes or something that's what I did.

RE: what percentage of asylum ceekers would you be happy with in ratio to your countries population?

No, but I'd like to be a Brit working in Australia.

RE: what percentage of asylum ceekers would you be happy with in ratio to your countries population?

I wouldn't be looking to exceed a 5% total. What happens with emmigration, birth rate, the life expectancy and the repurcussions upon the British working class would factor in too.

RE: People you hate reading about in The Papers ??

Oh well, at least Iceland have given her the boot now.
