he admitted he broke in, he has the funds to fly anywhere in the country and play 18 holes of golf.... lsorta makes sense they lock him up, ever hear of flight risk.... ans ask them this who in their right mind would jeopardize their book... that was getting released the same day??? maybe a smart man who anted as much free publicit as possible...Front page no less.
you know as well as many others if the words I think or myopinion is not included in some way shape or form someone will misinterpret what you wrote as a affront to them....you know the type that over react to the simpliest of phrases. and from what i gather about you, you do take those people into consideration. probably a maternal thing... or maybe you know yourself better than you give yourself credit for
I am curious does the "commander in chief" of Americas Armed forces (president Bush) use "Blackwater" private security force when he Pops in to visit Iraq or his own navy, marines, air force, and army special forces to protect him????
well if you have never needed moral support from him before ,now you'll know how he'll respond in future/similar events.
People are a wierd bunch... sometimes its all words be they said or printed then when it comes to actions top prove the extent of their loyalty or friendship many times we are surprised, nay, disappointed.
another possible scenario is he was unable maybe when the first opportunity arises he'll be there to provide comfort. Sometimes its best to ask your friend to be there for you and not assume they will/should.
I hope your feeling better... sounds like you had a real rough day.
it puzzles me how a country that has tribes against tribes warlords against warlords manage to get so many in so many different countries to rally and protest and march on their behalf...too well orchestrated 6 or 7 countries at once on same day protesting the same thing... or is just me?
a very common and complicated dilemma when to intercede when to apply pressure to a sovergin nation to change. I do beleive one thing fromn the little I read Darfur has little to offer or have pillaged from them... which could be the inaction has occur from the international community....these people need the basics like water. will the next stable nation in line to offer humanatarian aide please step forward.
More than 200,000 people have died and 2.5 million have been uprooted since ethnic African rebels took up arms against the Arab-dominated Sudanese government in 2003, accusing it of decades of neglect. Sudan's government is accused of retaliating by unleashing a militia of Arab nomads known as the janjaweed — a charge it denies.
Nor is the crisis confined to Darfur. It has spilled over borders, destabilizing the region. Darfur is also an environmental crisis -- a conflict that grew at least in part from desertification, ecological degradation and a scarcity of resources, foremost among them water.
how much emphasis shjould it be given. As of late past 10 years or so for me even the newspapers are dubious at best when truths and plain unaltered facts are needed.
how much credence should we give the written word. even 'spell check" can be a device that can be misleading.
trusting everyone in any environment is risky. without hearing the flow of words from the mouth without the visual appearance when they speak For me it hard to take too seriously. It's those slip of the tongues those failure to make eye contact or keep a straight face. that reveal volumes to me anyway.
I have shut off all communication before, only when in a short time (measured in hours)of communicating they start professing "love everafter"
but trusting is a necessity in new relationship to what extent one trusts is for each of us to decide.
I can understand you not wanting to burn the bridge, but not the standing idly by.
only getting positive agreeable feedback on your posts and threads
Welcome to CS and just a friendly tip, its best not to judge so quickly from a single post or thread. Contrary to what you read, many here have a hearts of gold, even though their printed words don't always reveal it.
what a person does for enjoyment and as a pastime is who they are. If some find your lifestyle and hobbies less than acceptable move on. I have my garden and small engines (many half disassembled projects) and my night classes. Some see it as junk and wasted of time I see it as constructive creativity. Don't hold their inability to appreciate your choices of creativity, just don't offer them any of your good cooking.
I personally find "bead work" tedious, much rather take wrenches and tinker with something... and boy do I hate to leave a quit a project until I'm ready to.
