but now it's a happy sound more than annoying.thumbs up

does a good dancer make a good lover?

just a THOUGHT maybe what he called dancing was a stretching exerciseor warmup before the "main event"....

not all my thoughts are worthy of readingrolling on the floor laughing grin

RE: Christmas Decorations

Enjoyed that nostalgia part too when married.

Only have a wreath on the door and motion detector Santa on the front porch....and yes he says" Ho Ho Ho "

RE: Food Stamps; gov't help in USA

My sisters friend has a card also so as to whether or not what the guy showed me was legit I' really could not say, but it was in a book of 65.00 with only 40 left.

I have a few folks I know that are doing the "creative disclosure" of finances and assets to the government... I say if they don't use it those boys in D.C. will replace it with an I.O.U. and send to to some country that has been fighting since recorded history began.

I may be of the minority her but if you can get the Government to part with and send it your way... be it nickels and dimes if it ain't dispersed ,they'll take it away from the budget next year....

/Provide/Care for Americans First... those big businesses that relocated to God knows where for cheaper labor and higher profits and lose doing it should not be a tax payers concern.

does a good dancer make a good lover?

whatever the truth is, I'll be the one taking breaks from the "floor" and not just when the band takes theirs.laugh

sometimes we can learn alot by observing those on the dance floor from a distance. wow smitten

RE: I know this has been done but..... whos taken or single?

I am currently off the market until after the holidays (Christmas anyway).

Always feel uncomfortable dating at that time of year shopping together is fine but the whole "family and togetherness" thing during the holidays I"m never particularly excited about meeting someones family in the beginning of a relationship anyway.

So for the enjoyment of my holiday season, I'm not looking.
However, if Santa brings me a little sumthin sumthin(he knows how I like things wrapped), well who am I to refuse Santa's generousity?
I've been one of his #1 helpers for a good many years.cool

Hoping you all have a secret Santa wish that gets granted too.thumbs up

RE: Help !!

does a good dancer make a good lover?

got a response elsewhere then here

Dancing easily displays stamina and endurance. Some can be on the dance floor all night others after a set or so they want to take a break.

RE: as time goes by have you ever looked back and seen what you done with your life

what i find strange is
How i recall "major events" in my life ,while recall some they say where "major events" in my life

RE: Food Stamps; gov't help in USA

WAIT...

an idea is formingconfused rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Food Stamps; gov't help in USA

the highest profit to be made from abusing Gov't assistance is the selling of prescriptions drugs believe me there are people who go with the sole intent of getting the most popular easily sold drug then sell them for cash.

And before any high brow Republican speaks about assistance to American citizens CLEAN UP YOUR OWN PARTY and all these Gov't bailouts for huge corporations or over paying for supplies and services to our soldiers overseas.

RE: The Nature of Dating Sites.

only certain careers/professions are afforded the option to pick up and relocate easily.

I agree it does require sacrifice.
Even if one has not been burned via a dating site, any bad relationship in their past can cause them to be leery of making the same mistake twice, 3, or some even 4 times.

some will never believe drinking too much from the well is bad for you.

does a good dancer make a good lover?

RE: Ok here it is

Good luck daniel and your "one lady" I hope this is a time of true communication and between yourselves it gets resolved.

Actually I wish the best for both of youthumbs up comfort

does a good dancer make a good lover?

or is it the style of dancing they do?

or is one or those "urban dance hall" myths?

RE: Ok here it is

The sad truth is if there is only one then theres only one... paint it anyway you want... if that is the one then Daniel you know what is being expected of of you... Secondly If no one has a clue who she is yet I doubt this public announcement will draw her out.

Just an opinion ,You are as entitled as the rest of us

to have "only one" too.

Best of luck handshake

RE: i resolve to.......................

I'm going to update and refurbish my internet profiles...put more thought into what I place there.

RE: Sacrifice

thumbs up agree with this statement

mine was position , ownership, security and my financial future.

other than that nothing.

RE: YOUR VIEW.....

I hold the belief that if the " Air Marshalls" that where assigned during the Hijacking era where still in place this atrocity could have been prevented.

As to the rest whose responsible who was negligent who should be held accountable, who should pay, these are answers maybe our grandchildren will learn..

Because of this act our leaders have begun eliminating the rights and freedoms that made this country great. They like a bull in a china shop have destroyed the integrity and respect we as americans once had throughout the world.

Conspiracy??? maybe what has transpired after the fact...it will be discovered by our grandchildren.

conversing sigh

RE: Messages

Too much informationlaugh

RE: HOW MANY OF US ACTUALLY REPLY TO MESSAGES AND FLOWERS WE RECIEVE,IF U DONT WHY?

not as spontaneous as some when it comes to replying to flowers and such

RE: How soon after a date do you call her back?

I'll call the following day/night after work.

I've never had the impulse to call right away,or call 4 and 5 times the next day. Not after the first date/meeting anyway.

As to the Texting... thats a new one to me, is that like classified as worth half a phone call or is it worth more....these new communication avenues I'm not that up on the etiquette of them all.

I know a wave, or nod, handshake or hug, single word verbal greeting as compare to a sentence all have different implications after the first date.

RE: why do we go out on blind date

I accept Blind dates for what I think are Good logical reasons,
1. Hey if a friend /family thinks I might actually get along with someone it should be considered a worthy gamble.

2. Most my past blind dates where helping a friend out whose GF had a friend or just wanted to bring her friend along as a security measure... it also included free eats, drink and entertainment, maybe a decent woman to share it with

3. All sincere help should not be so readily dismissed, and a date is a night out ands away from the house.

4. No one has ever died or been permanently injured from simply going on a Blind date.

To those that have not had dates in a long while and have refuse a friend, co-worker or family member who knows someone they think you should date...Hows that been working for ya???

doh
just a few thoughts on Blind Dates
