in the beginning.... there where few dating sites with forums and free services. saturation on the internet of a good idea has a lot to do with what is occuring.
In real life if someone voices there opinion and has not the ability to listen to others then hell yeah I avoid them....I may sing in the shower but I sure am not gonna waste my breath or typing skills talking to a wall. .
I think many misuse the forums those that just idly chat back and forth amoungst a group of 2 to 3 should use the chat room. I 'll admit reading pages on pages of "hey girl where ya been" or "did you get that bad weather" on a thread which was started to discuss ideas on plolitical reform, or dating do's and don'ts
Many threads have a subject title yet they are reduced to gab fest where the posters are not even contributing to the main subject of the topic.
We have been given by CS the ability to IM E-mail and even a chat room yet by reading some posts I would have to say these othr avenues are not being used.
Complaining can be a good thing... blaming rarely is. humor directly towards the subject matter of a topic can inspire and bring more responses even to the most eserious of threads. all speakers use humor in some fashion... but blamiong and name calling and accusations are for the school playground and it reveals more than all the other opinions one has.
When all forum attendees start using the forums to voice an opinion and why they have that opinion the quality of the forums will improve..so will the ability to understand each other more clearly. ( I too am guilty of this very thing)
thats my two cents.. .which by its length alone amounts to much more than than a soundbyte or something that should be in a chat room.
walk away.. its not your place to call him he should have called you unless it was a "emergency" of some sorts ( admitting that ones emergencys is another hic-cup)
but calling him.... failure to show on first date. his responsibility not yours.
understanding the language of politics.... There is only one rule that one needs to remember yes is no, up is down, when it is said its is good for the people it is in truth bad and vice versa change means is status quo.
the only difference between a republican and democrat in the united states is the color of the tie. they get fed from the same lobbyists they are guaranteed pensions and healthcare and excellent positions when they decide to leave office.
and no politician after serving only two terms ever returns to his tax bracket when they where elected. all leave with more than what they came in with.
I do not understand why the media does not do a where are they now on politicians who resign or leave office much like MTV does music stars of the past.
whats with this immunity from prosecution they all enjoy? yeah bash NAFTA, unions, environmentalists even corporations.
does the term "smoke and mirrors", misdirection, sleight of hand in their case sleight of mouth and intentions
why is it only ever questioned about love at first sight? what of love at first sound, ones laugh, sound of voice
love at first contact the initial touch or being touched?
I often wonder if all our other senses we possess are not given the same credence over our decisions the scent as well as the appearance of someone is easily "doctored" or enhanced by products readily available to any average person
maybe that love at first sight is something they purchased at the store less than a hour before you saw them.
So I definitely do not see 'love at first sight" as accurate or reliable.
I believe love is much more complex than first sight.
someone told me that the patriot act that was so blindly and quickly passed does give the government certain still unused powers over private ownership of firearms and Homeland Security will be the branch of government to enact it.
don't know how much truth is in this statement....but i can see it is a definite possibility.
maybe I'm old school but i cannot understand how Love can be achieved without having another's physical presence in close proximity... it honesty baffles me how some can declare love everafter by simply exchanging letters and phone calls/webcams.
Freindships yeah, but Love I just think love is way more complex than that.
commonsense actually they'll never be able to restrict/outlaw the sale of guns.
but ammunition can be controlled by availability, cost with taxes, tariffs and the limiting of the ingredients necessary for the production of ammunition.
this is where they will begin..... limiting access/sale ammunition.
other industries did the same thing to promote buying their newer products...From the automobile to computers to home appliances... what good is a gun without the ammunition?
watch what i say....stricter regulations and laws on the sell of ammunition will be the path to limit our right to bear arms.
Leastways if i wanted to stop or eliminate the use of guns thats where I'd hit first.

from being a after math of the "{babyboomer era " to all other definitions those at the prime age, age to breed. was it a movie, comic book, going to church, heaven forbid the most rememberable best teaching ool of all called, .trial and error?

Attention our election process has become to tainted by apathy.
the issues that face us are not isolated to one area, state or region. the "for the people by the people and of the people." has become a sound byte which lately(past 20 years)does not get the attention it should.
so those who would chose to threaten my family, home and freedoms( what little is left). I will defend what is mine, law allowing it or not.
It must be such a feeling of contentment to trust your governments.
I do not have the pleasure of such a sensation to believe my government is still of the people for the people and by the people.
not sure if its my vision or lack of caring about age.
but I have lost the ability to be able to surmise a womans age by appearance, hell,l even in conversation it is sometimes hard to make an accurate guess.
I enjoy life and living and probably most important I enjoy the company and companionship of a woman.
So, having an "age restriction" would hinder myself from enjoying life, women, and the pursuit of happiness.
15 y/o worked at a gas station in fact because of labor laws half my pay was in cash. that was back in the day that short sticking the oil stick to sell a quart of oil or other less than honorable ways of getting more money was not unheard of...
I heard on a financial news network that because so many have been investing in oil stocks the price of gas at the pumps has to rise its not about shortages.
based on that tidbit the more we invest in stocks the higher the priice of the product we invest in will grow.
once again we as citizens perpetrate this campaign for election deceit...
All those who are offered to us to elect have exaggerations and misleading comments.
yet so few will elaborate on thier choive of who should hold this office.
the most unifying thing they all possess is the word change Duh the president only has certain p[owers that he can enact without approval from the legislative branch of our government.
To this end I state take of whiff of the politician you voted for in your respective legislative offices and ask yourself how good was your choices in that branch of government? remembering forgein policy actions and our local problems with outsourcing, immigration, and our ever growing national debt, healthcare for elderly and children alike.... Yeah those who think one man can change all these problems that where clearly stated 8 12 16 years ago yeah why is it no one knows or believes in preventive maintenance when representing the citizens of America? is it not easier to takew a pill then to have to wait for major surgery to repair or mend a problem. Even a backyard mechanic knows this as do those with gardenss and homeowners but our elceted folks never learned or chose to wait for the roof to cave in or the cancer to spread before acting.... and still we think one man can change things....
Always wondered why evolution and religion could not get along is more a pride thing that nefarious emotion that is in us all. and the arrogance that God began on the simplier life forms and instill the ability to adapt and change to the environment and survival of species.
Why cannot evolution be considered part of the god and faith program?
