term limits on all politicians.
I would bring about a "New draft" which consisted of college graduates who serve as a representative or senator for their region.(Based on type of degree not this only lawyers are qualified.
All meetings,contributions and conversations made by/with lobbyists would be public record
those who serve as political representatives would have the same pensions and medical coverage that is afforded to the majority of citizens within their district.
the technology of today would be used to facilate increased citizen participation in voter turnout. eachbill proposed for a vote wouild not have payola pork attached... and these branches of government would not have all these breaks throughout the year. If the average working man can strive produce withonly holidays off then so should they.
politicians pay would be determined strictly on the "cost of living allowance" and place on a public ballot.

multinational corporations having more and more power within all types of government rule... this one fact is obvious to me, my needs and wants are not an issue or a concern with the political machine that is greased, fueled, and ran by these numerous multi-national corporations, regardless of what party affiliation these "elected" types claim.

The flow of words when spoken from someone, the pauses not seen before one answers/ or the lack of thereof, rewrites before hitting the post button.
The absence of eye contact. these reason and many more have been implanted in my emotional process of deciding ones sincereity and truthfulness for a long time.
words... the written word especially can be so deceiving . Yet here I see so many so quickly proclaim they have found each other or are in love...without so much as a single playdate.
It just confuses the bejejsus out of me

Forced isolation from society and family causes alot of disruption in ones life... employment, living situation, even self esteem can be damaged to an extent.
I know when I did a 90 day sentence, what my wants and needs where upon my release... I needed a job and a residence.... I wanted the affections of a woman.
allow him to establish / acquire his basic needs for living... and in the meantime do not allow your desire for companionship with him to destroy your own heart or life. remember if he is in a needy situation he is not his own man and others that offer him shelter food and means to survive will be controlling his actions.
war is a part of the "check and balance" system of the worlds societies... without it or any thing like it this world would surely be a terrible place for humans of all types.
I have sympathy and disgust (depends on age) for those that still believe TV and all other medias only give truthful information.
Its saddens me that every 4 or 8 years in America the political rhetoric is simply the same as before yet because it comes from a different mouth it is given credence as truthful and possible.
common sense should tell us that just because you have a a house full of rats ridding your house of one will eliminate the rodent infestation.

Fact, addiction of all types and nature has grown not decreased.... the profession of mental helpers of all degrees has grown, from doctors to group sessions of all ilk, basically dealing with bad choices repeatedly bad choices. Still the "addiction" crisis grows.
this constant bombardment by media and self-proclaimed sincere professionals have a very low success rate.... well, except for suicides they are down nation wide. they call them by other names now... O.D Kidney failure, alcoholic poisoning... even the term "overmedication" that one really cracks me up. Give someone a drug they can Overdose and die from and only monitor the person once or twice a month.
more and more people are relying on others to assist them in defeating whatever plagues them yet the number of people with "problems" and dealing with them continue to grow.
who is quicker to think twice about their actions... the person walking a tightrope with a safety net, or the one who realizes there is no safety net.
sometimes allowing one to much understanding and consoling is detrimental to ones own ability to resolve there own dilemma.
I agree Paws, the blame game has become to readily accepted in society.
Being held accountable for ones action is no longer enforced.
naturally the professions of shrink/counselor/therapist has grown tenfold since the introduction of acceptance of "its someone elses fault" that I do what I do, or am what i am.
The less I know about them personally the easier it is for me. on those rare occassions where its strictly chemistry/attraction, I can accept the time constraints of its only a one niter.
Its when I get to know them personally too well that the "one night stand" opportunity/option gets troublesome for me.
I can see justification/reasons for two strangers sharing a nite of physical intimacy for strictly the physical intimacy... but when the other stuff is added to the mix it can get painful and hurtful to one or the other.
Being on both ends of this more than once I rather it be 2 strangers sharing a one nite stand, then any other way.

Here in Detroit,Michigan area we are charged a nominal fee to recycle... handling, transportation fees and such... sadly in a way its more convienent and less exspensive to just throw away.
Hows that for a sad statement on how seriously the government sees Global Warming.... and "waste management" is just a phrase used to gain financial profit from the consumers who choose to recycle.
just as all other life forms transitions/change occur.
As to is it life threatening to the human speicies... we are probably the most fragile of all life forms if we take away our technology.
Has mankinds desire for ease of living and surviving the elements accelerated the "global warming"? DEFINITELY !!
My contribution to slowing the process of global warming... to create no more children and discourage mine from having anymore, I have 2 vegetable garden, use public transportation, and reduce my personal use of dishes and plastic.
I try to buy things that are manufactured and grown locally....that is probably the most time consuming and expensive thing I do.
