RE: toughest part in a relationship....

I find being kind to an Ex-anything overboard.

being civil?? OK can dothumbs up

RE: toughest part in a relationship....

well half the day has passed...

I am of the thinking that staring a relationship or for that matter anything that is time consuming and relationships do require time.

it involves sacrifice of some nature changing ones schedule juggling dates and times... My biggest challenge is that anyway.

Its not that I do not want a "good" realtionship with a woman, its more of a cautionary tale with me.

I find it difficult to give the time in the beginning stages most ladies seem to demand. Its like lets date, see each other, get the feel of each other before the plunge of exclusivity
I would have to drop/stop things. which I gladly would for the "right" one.

Its a gamble, sadly, for me its been a LONG long time since I've been so impressed with a woman that I actually thoughts the oods where good enough to take that gamble.

So I can relate to the starting of a relationship being anything but easy.

RE: toughest part in a relationship....

RE: toughest part in a relationship....

ahh the idea that true love is an easy task is a misnomer.
it involves a commitment, every minute, hour of the day.
True love is not a trophy you strive to acquire then place upon a mantle. Just as time and seasons change, so too does an individual and couple. Our needs and wants change. True love requires being ever vigilant. to each others needs and wants.

Regardless how much we say "What we have, it'll never change" is a wish A line from a fairy tale we have all seen and read many times..

"When the legend is greater than the truth. Print the legend.."

a line from the movie
the man who shot Liberty Valance

RE: 50-50 in RELATIONSHIPS

my marriage we both had our own accounts and a joint account same with CC's.

its a good way to keep your own identity, and establish your own credit rating in society. as an individual and as a couple.

RE: 50-50 in RELATIONSHIPS

if both are financially equipped for such an arrangement why not.

If he wanted to purchase season tickets to a sporting event and you did not particularly care for it NO to paying half.

RE: i need sum advice !

JIMINEY CRICKETS???

I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THE MORE MATURE/OLDER SISTER IS HERE.

Sure I've only read your two initial posts but being the only surviving "big brother" left, As eldest It comes with responsiblities ..far beyond being acknowledge as right or wrong. Sadly same goes with being the smartest. Trust me, "I told you so's"... can always be used later

even those who are less in years should acknowledge this simple steadfast fact...
Siblings as adults should not
involve their parents in their squabbles... PERIOD.

Yeah I know someone in these situations is always being falsely accused of some act or other mis deed....

my Goodness, consider your family ( especially your parents) as adults both should be smart enough to deal with disagreements of brother or sister in a more mature way then ...

"I'M TELLING MOM AND DAD!"

yeah its just my opinion, no facts, no psychological studies... just a grown mans opinion who has married sisters. and I've been blessed with both mom and dad still with us.
