FOR MY DEAREST FRIEND....M

my dearest M...a good poet friend
who resides in a far far away land
much to my love and bleeding heart
would thou be yours to lend a hand

but of course I know, as the world may
this love of mine belongs to none
but deeply I just hold it through
as the glory days are dead and gone

What else is there left to be said
but a deep and heartfelt thanks
for you are always there for me
on prevailing dark sentiments

So my dear M, a truly good friend of mine
keep writing them great classic words
for us to share with so much fun
for nothing else could sooth us more
than your writes here at our one and only
Poetry corner...forevermore..

I LOVE YOU

I love you

would there be a better way to live
than to love and be loved?

I love you

no pressure, just feeling free
no demands, no boundary

I love you

you give me your heart
your failures, success, trust

I love you

you can go anytime you want
but I know, you will stay

because, you love me, too
and this is our way

together

our connection, unrestrained
wrapped secured in your strong arms

you and I feel ourselves entwined
so at peace, yet so unbound

we love each other, with respect
trust we both share

I hope, to last forever.

I love you.

Wayne's Challenge 2

my dreams are Tainted
by the force of my storms
Scattered upon
the Glittering stars
which only
the Fragrant blooms can match
and upon my grave
a heavy Cross worn and weathered
tasteless as the sense
of my Mortal soul
Lost I am
upon the ripples of the ocean
where lay upon the shore
a Temptress, waiting
but can't make me Sin no more

I AM IN LOVE

searching no more for answers
in the cunundrum of this life
I have stumbled on the truth
that which eluded me always
today, it finally showed
the enlightening of my mind
that travesty of hopes
are indeed the illusions
I have always kept inside
I am in love, or I thought I was
but the question is:
was I really? or was it all a lie?
him that made me feel queen for a while
was all but the devil in disguise?
can someone wake me up
and fix my broken heart?
can someone tell me, tomorrow will be alright?
oh but I know you are all tired
tired of listening to the useless
pointless wails of my mind
and maybe..... you can even say:
"can you shut the hell up already?
we are sick and tired of your journey
move over, stay away"
this world turns whether you're here or not
so please save us from your litanies of hurts
no matter how you look at it,
you were never really in love..

A Plea To Our Dear Robert

you came as a light on a rather
dimmed ground
where all that connected us
was the failures of our past
you unmasked your pain
with a dose of strength
and entered the labyrinth
of more sacrifice
you hid nothing, you..
even bared your flesh
so the world can devour the truth
out of your sufferings
your submission to the call
of a journey marred by confusion
you didn't give up
even for mutilation
instead you gave it a push
to gain the wind of peace
on a world so broken
and a ground so shaken
then love found you
and so you are called
respond to it with love
and don't be afraid
for we are all here around
with our hearts and mind
never to let you sulk alone
if need be carry you with our hands
for we, here at the corner
do care
and so our friend, Robert
please stay forever...

peace be with you and to your love L.

To All Our Irish Friends (Mizzy's challenge)

There is a nice Green Irish Tavern
Located on lush lea surrounded by the mountains
And on one calm March weekend
The day was reserved for one mighty celebration
Where all the members of our Poetry Corner
And also Blogs were invited to be there
So it was on a Saint Patrick's Day
And the gatherings was to be on early afternoon
We know very well on this kind of occasion
It will last till the second day at dawn
But of course, we also know it is of reputation
That these affair is meant to be long..
And why not, it is for the intention
Of one mighty memorial declaration
Of the good deeds and great contribution
From our strong and powerful worldwide Irish clans
But this one particular Tavern
was designated as the center of the gathering
Before long the awaited moment will begin
When our great Irish friends will be marching in
And here is the list on the manifest
Of those special invited guests
Starts from Nonsmoker, side by side with Westernstar
Designated to open the limousine and the tavern door
And now the rest are lined up, so elegantly clothed
Started with the beautiful gorgeous ladies
And here are the names in the manifest and list:
Rupturecapture who is just adorable, beside her
Sernenity4two in great flair, Mollybaby in great pedigree
Furryflaps with such a delight to see, Anloised, too
And she is just so gorgeous, Itchywitchy in unflinching
And very eye engaging look as her demeanor was so good
Full of confidence and happy mood, Glatgol followed
With even more regal and stern look, Oh Knenagh
what a joy to see, with her brimming special beauty
Beside her is Goldengloss, so demure and yet like semiGod
Wait, there are more to come, Or I might be missing some
But please not with intention and I can always make some addition
Now here are the great looking men, so ruggeddy yet so elegant
Ravensgold oh what a look, Mizzy4 with his sweet smiles
Liam who is always on the phone, perhaps just can't seem to be alone
Calling on his love of his life on thousand of miles distance
And I just know who is that beautiful one
Macduff and Mcradloff both so great looking and gorgeous
Just determined in their calculated steps
And so this will conclude, this one great and memorable episode
Of the gatherings to enjoy, commemorate and celebrate
This great moment of Saint Patrick's day for all
The hardworking, intelligent, gorgeous Irish people
And again, if I have missed anyone
Please let me be forgiven,it wasn't done with intent
But there is always a chance to come back and append
and can be included as they would come
So thanks to all our great Irish friends
And also my half Irish children
Who also are members of this one mighty event...
My great and wonderful members of this community
Let us celebrate for our friends until eternity.

Long live our Irish friends....

About this poem:
Just my humble contribution to all our members here at Blogs and Poetry Corner

Note: I only checked the corresponding origin of each member on the names, which of course, doesn't always mean they are Irish as much as there are some Irish, but not from Ireland..

Having said that I hope I have not offended anyone for this write and if I have please forgive me. Let me know and I would gladly append it..I just want all of us to be a cohesive community in harmony and being an international site, seeking friends and partners...

Thanks all for your indulgence and comments..
And Mizzy thanks for this challenge my friend..

love and more about love poems

your love so strong
my lonely world disappeared
with you I'm so blessed...

you radiate with joy
your strength very potent
you're salt of the earth...

you are a pillar
of what's good and what is right
my world filled with love...

I knelt and I prayed
dark storms disappeared fast
beautiful light shone..

great old wine I drank
slept in your gentle arms
And the church bells rang...

what haven't yet have I done?

what have I thought not yet resolved
as I swim in the ocean of your sorrows
what words is there haven't I said
as I bathe in the rivers of your pains
what acts are left haven't I labored
as I dance in the rains of your sufferings
what has my eyes haven't yet seen
as my tears drop in the cup of your silence
what rock there is I haven't turned
so I find the gate back to your heart
and that I wouldn't get dislodged?
what tune is there I haven't sang
that will bring the sunshine back
and light the ground I stand on?
oh I know, it's not the time
but when it comes, and
there's no more tears to shed
there's no more air to breath
and my heart beats its last...
please remember,
I've always loved you.
always..and don't forget
your oceans, your rivers
were all mine to conquer and cross
so I could get back to you

yet I'm sure this is only a wistful thinking
but I can't help remembering
