RE: What Do You Do After Making Love To Your Woman?

RE: The wonder of Astrology

I occasionally read my stars in the paper but treat them as a joke. I do enjoy kind words and optimistic predictions. I find they seem to be just well meaning spin and very vague. I suspect they are written by councilors trying to cheer people up.

RE: How to Dress to Attract a Man: A Guide for Women over 40

In my experience the problems or sucesses of how women dress, regardless of their age, is more to do with other women. Other women are much more likely to make a woman feel unattractive by all the means available to signal to each other about what looks good, fits right, or shows off the best features.
Most women fully realise that men are not very aware of fashion, styles, colour matching and contrast. Hell every woman at one time or another wishes that her man could see her and tell her he does.
For any of you that look at 'GOK' on tv, the real basis for dressing well is to have that powerfull and confident self image.Every one of his girls come alive with his urgings to see themselves as attractive. They all focus on what they dont like, boobs,or bums. After he helps them see the positive the problem areas disappear.

RE: A Guide to Buying Champagne

Hmm. Well, I don't always stock champagne though when I do it's usually a finer Piper Heitzig and usually above the 15.00 USD mark.

As for the ink prices, after several flutes of a fantastic Brut, who cares? :)

RE: Is Chocolate an Aphrodisiac?

Scientists tell us that chocolate contains a substance known as phenylethylamine, as well as the mood boosting chemical known as serotonin. Both of these substances are well known for their positive impact on mood, and in fact many prescription antidepressant medications work by impacting serotonin levels

Also. This article does not mention the fact that white chocolate actully has a mellow, calming effect.thumbs up

RE: How to Dress to Attract a Man: A Guide for Women over 40

Good article !

Often spoken: men is the predator and women the pray.

Not true !

In fact is on the other way around. Women developed charming technics that cannot be compared with any men's technics.

All these technics are useful to build a charming network...
Like a spider, you girls can simply nail a man that easy.
So this is a good lead to change your atitude

Stop being the pray and become the predator.

RE: The Ten Worst Presidents

What a shame...frustrated

I guess you forgot George W. Bush, or maybe he should be mentioned in the top-list of the best war dictators ever on this planet. WE Europeans, will remember him and his war crimes against other nations. The bulshit oil and selfish excuses to interfere disrespecting United Nations, as well as his enviromental policy. Reminds me Hitler instead of a uniform, just a white shirt.

RE: Why do we sometimes sabotage ourselves..

Wow! I really like your post, Very wise and very accurate. I love the fact that you see what is going on around you and in the world, unlike many whom seem to wonder around aimlessly, without a clue to what is going on around them... I've never been to this section on CS before..I'm usually just in the forums when I have a little free time, But I have to say I enjoyed your post....thumbs up cheers

As far as an anwser to the original question, I'm not one of those people who get intimidated, or who lose their nerve in certain situations...But you are right most people want this fantasy life that they see on tv....and get their emotions and expectation higher then they should and don't seem to overlook reasonable flaws in others, then later in life when they are bitter and alone realize, that is was their on fault for not taking the chances others were and not accepting less then their fantasies....here is a little something O dabbled a couple of years ago.....when life wasn't going so well..and people just have time to reflect on well life in general... well no I'm not going to post it herelaugh I don't know where I saved it at dunno Anyhow, Have a good one hun..cheers

RE: Is it time to end your relationship?

We must give full chance to your partner to express not only his/her feelings but also encourage him/her to express his/her complaints. Must listen to the ways, he/she thinks, to be taken to resolve the problems or the differences. In any relationship there are always some very good times, and those cannot not be forgotton. Even after breaking relation these good times will come to our mind, especially when the new partner will not enjoy the same moments what you enjoyed with your earlier partner.

RE: The wonder of Astrology

Astrology is, of course, complete twaddle.

Astrologers did not predict the existence of pluto, still less other bodies. And who was it that proved that the Earth and the other planets go around the sun? Galileo, not really a noted astrologer. Astronomy supplanted Astrology as an explication of stars and planets, although there was some overlap.

Astrology was practised, and its beliefs formulated, before anyone knew the paths of the planets and stars, i.e. before the invention of the telescope, before Copernicus before Kepler, before Halley.

Astrology provides no causal link between planets and daily life, merely the assertion that they are linked in some unspecified way.

If I wanted to intellectualise the belief in this ridiculous mumbo jumbo, I would say that it arose from the apparent incongruity between the circular motion of the planets and the apparent tendency for objects on earth to move in straight lines. And that therefore people sought ways to link them together, and ascribed magical powers, and often religious powers to the planets and stars. I think Newton, and then Einstein, showed that these physical realities are, in fact, not contradictory - i.e. gravity.

The seventeenth century saw the stunning innovation that predictions and assertions about the natural world should be subject to experimental and mathematical verification. AStrology just can't cope with that.

As for why astrology should have survived the Renaissance and the Enlightenment and the Age of Reason into the modern world, I can think of only one explanation. In order to provide concrete evidence that there are a lot of stupid, irrational and gullible people around. It has that in common with necromancy, psychics, and Dan Brown novels.

RE: How to Dress to Attract a Man: A Guide for Women over 40

Ladies: do you really lack confidence in yourself as much as to break your back dressing up just for him?
Most men care little about themselves and have unrealistic expectations of women. As for women: are you turning into discomfort slaves so just to satisfy men?

RE: Emotional Abuse in Relationships

Very good, this is something that really needs to be discussed as it happens a lot and some people are not even quite aware of it. Not everything bad that happens to us is because of our own inadequacy. Being firm about not taking any crap in the future is very important in breaking the spell. You really need to tell yourself over and over that you deserve better.

Perhaps South Africa could help put it straight... confused

Why do you think we got Pieter Dirk Uys - going out as and doing comedy as "Evita Bezuidenhout", this could correct for some shortfalls.
