Killer Motives

(This blog was inspired by “Why do men rape women?” A blog written by fiftyshadesofgra)

I’ve recently watched documentaries about serial killers Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy. They were both before I was born so I wanted to culture myself a bit and get up to speed with the both of them. Dahmer said he raped and killed because he felt like he had no control over anything in his life. Bundy did it for possession and control. There’s always some form of control there.

I feel like I have no control over my life sometimes but that doesn’t drive me to hurt someone. However, I noticed a difference. My parents are still happily married. 51 years. Ted and Jeffrey didn’t have that.

Still though some people have had terrible childhoods and turned out just fine and great childhoods and turned serial killer/rapist. It’s really something I can’t wrap my head around either. Perhaps I should turn the tables and find out why people from bad backgrounds turned out fine as well to get a better picture. Ted said he did it because he wanted to, not explaining a motive. This is telling me he is inherently bad which goes with the fact that we are all inherently sinful.

I am leaving you all with this. My opinion is that the enemy played on their insecurities to get them to do his bidding. If you have an area where you’re weak he’s going to try his best to use that against you. I hate to say this but they allowed the devil to use them as his vessels. Dahmer even said he was going to build a shrine to the devil had he not been apprehended using the heads of his victims.

One of my friends asked me how can you watch that kind of stuff? I don’t because I know how the enemy works. I said I do too but it’s good to know how the mind of a serial killer/rapist works so that you can avoid it. I commend her for not watching those films though. I really shouldn’t be watching them either except for the reasons I mentioned.

The Problem With Guns…

Is that they are no problem at all. This country is collapsing bit by bit. The shooters in this country are all controlled by a socialist called satan. He very much believes in his cause and has recruited others as his conglomerate. The fact that people don’t see this as spiritual warfare and only as a mere materialistic problem with guns is a giant red flag and I beg you…in fact I implore you to seek where you are going when you die. None of this head knowledge and political knowledge is gonna matter when you face the Almighty. He’s just gonna simply ask you one question…did you believe in me or not? That alone is enough to scare me more than any gun pointed at me ever could. The guns are the distraction. The destruction and lost souls is the man behind the mask or behind the gun so to speak.

Da Numbas...

It's always entertaining to work around someone who grew up in New York City and cannot get around the accent. One salesman would say "Da Numbas" when the rest of us knew he meant 'the numbers'
In business, the numbers means so much. If you have to sell enough to keep the business going. That said, you have to sell high enough to turn a profit. It's all in the numbers. Or, as they say in New York "Da Numbas."

Lots of things going on this week and I haven't had the time to read/watch news as much as I usually do. Mentioned before, I'll scan a story and go to the reader comments, as they often have things to say that are more important than the news story itself.

I see there's a blow-by-blow on what's happening with Trump and the New York fraud trial.

The former chief financial officer of the Trump Organization, Allen Weisselberg had a bad case of amnesia and couldn't answer the many questions he was asked while under oath. That's okay and often the prosecutor asking the questions often has the answer and it's just a matter of procedure if the witness is willing to lie or not. Considering Weisselberg already spent time in jail he wasn't going to do or say anything of value.

One of the reader comments talked about the numbers that I found interesting:
Only 13 Presidents failed to get re-elected.
Only 5 Presidents failed to win the popular vote.
Only 4 Presidents have been impeached or resigned.
Only 1 President has ever been criminally indicted.
Only ONE President has done ALL FOUR

"For years, a high-ranking accountant at the Trump Organization was the point man for ensuring that tweaked numbers padded Donald Trump’s wealth on paper.

But when he appeared on the witness stand at the former president’s bank fraud trial last week, the accountant’s supposed finance expertise suddenly vanished into thin air."

New link:

Trump is still complaining in public he didn't get a jury trial.
But the truth is he's not admitting what really happened.
The jury request should have been formally requested from his attorney.
There is a box to be checked and they ignored it.
A blunder by his lawyers and he's trying to make people believe it's a corrupt judicial system.

Itchy...

A few months ago my cardiologist recommended I increase my diuretic to resolve leg swelling when I sit at a computer many hours a day. If that doesn't work, I should wear compression stockings. Medium compression of 20-30mmHg was the recommendation.
So, I bought a pair from a store that sells medical supplies. They were fitted to my foot and leg dimensions. I found them uncomfortable and would make my legs itchy if I had them on for more than an hour or two.
So, I ordered some from Amazon that were a size larger and kept them on for at least 6 hours. When I removed them, my legs and ankles were uncontrollably itchy, worse than the previous pair.
I researched reasons for itchy ankles and one symptom was diabetes. Ruling that out as my weekly sugar levels are in the normal range and I'm doing brisk walking 4 to 5 times a week.
I put some Benadril anti-itch medicine on the affected areas but it only worked for an hour or two and an itchy episode came back, it was like flipping a light switch!

How do you cure an itch?

You scratch it... I did and broke the skin. This started a viscous cycle.

Trying to make this go away, I'm using different medicines and alternating between antibiotic, hydrocortisone, and Benadril. My leg swelled so much I went to the doctor. He had me go for an ultrasound to be sure it didn't create a blood clot. Simple test... no clot.
The medical technician thinks I've got an allergy to the material the stockings are made from.

I'm headed to some outside appointments so no 'compression' for now... when I return, I've got a day of drawings to make and I'll consider some support hose. 10-15mmHg and some dry skin cream first.

The music you like (on CS)

Many among you open the Music section on CS from time to time. You may come across quite a few songs and artists you never heard of or else some of your favorites of decades ago. Anyway, if you like a song, you can click the like button... and additionally the music is added to your profile. (You can also add the music to your profile without adding a 'like', but why would you?).

Thinking of adding any favorite music, which you could find on YouTube? Then you can share this with CS members by adding music of your own. It will appear on the music main page, where it gradually moves down as new contributions are being posted.

Something more happens: you now figure in the list of music posters. Just click the button 'Posters' on top, which is by default sorted by last on-line date ... and there you are. You also find the number of music items underneath your picture. That number combines your own contributions and the number of songs you have 'liked'. (My own contributions account for nearly half the music song count you may find for me).

Note: the 'liking feature' applies to the CS music, to the books and to the movie sections. 'Liking' blogs does not add them to your profile, nor does 'liking' video sequences.

Dominant Jean...

I've been known to wear clothes until they are rags. Polo shirts for work date back to companies I was with 20 years ago and they don't go to waste as they become cleaning rags for car polishing (note to self, polish car this weekend) but my Jeans are a different story as they have zippers and snap-buttons. It's rare, but when a zipper breaks and I'm not able to repair it, the cost of having a seamstress replace the zipper is usually more than buying a new pair of jeans.
Those Jeans with broken zippers have been placed in clothing donation bins for recycle so someone can decide what to do with them.

When the snap breaks, I've been known to sew on a button, but the stress it too great and the button often comes loose. So, there have been several favorite Jeans of mine, stacked on a chair in the closet that are missing snaps.

Amazon sells replacement snap button kits in 2 different styles.
The first having to punch a hole where the back part gets hammered into the front. The other style uses a small flat screw to attach the button. I chose the one with the screw and it works perfectly!

Now, one of my favorite Jeans is wearable again and it's correct to refer to it as the Dominant Jean.

Thanks for reading my blog...
