autopilot...

Lots of websites are designed to run without administrator intervention. One place I've traveled to verifies all new members and photos only for minimal compliance that a person (and not a bot) is on the other end. That doesn't stop new members from using stolen photos of famous people as 20% of the new members are fakes.
Other than a casual visit by administration, CS is in perpetual autopilot mode. The site exists with 1 week probation for new members and blocking some words that are commonly used but considered offensive...
Examples:
A female chicken is a hen and the male is a c*ck. Oops, I mean rooster!
(I'm told that 'c' word is used in the bible but not allowed on many public forums)
Dogs? Bastard is the make dog and b*tch is the female.
I haven't checked and possibly they get blocked.
But... 'shit' gets past the word filter!

Back to the point of this blog. As mortal members we don't know who actually runs the place. A main moderator and some other staff, possibly a programmer or two is what I envision. Months ago, the moderator wiped out dozens of blogs and posted his own to say the site needed to go in a different direction (with less blogs of a certain type) and for a while blogs that didn't comply disappeared. I checked yesterday and the moderator hasn't logged in (to that profile) in months. Reporting bogus profiles is something I do often and going back to see they disappeared within a few days was normal. Something changed as no less than 30 scammer profiles are still here. Some haven't been back since they were created and others are still active. This leads me to believe there is more autopilot than administrative intervention.

That was the beginning of the end on another site. Let's hope it's not a repeat of history on this one.

A cute memory

My grandivas are in their mid to late twenties now. One of my cutest memories from when they were in elementary school is about the time texting began. The girls got phones and I got a text at work from the oldest one. I texted back and for a few text we enjoyed each other. Then it occured to me she turned me into the little girl I once was passing notes in elemetary school. Neither of us was supposed to be texting from school or work but there we were both being kids.

Now she is a flight attendant, today in Amerstdam posting photos on FB showing how happy she is. Yesterday she face timed me while she was doing her make up. She was cute as hell when the phone call started but then as she piled crap (makeup) on her face, did her cheeks, eyebrows, lashes, then fixed her hair all while face timeing she ended up looking like she belonged on a magazine that would give every man a boner. She always let me know how she was having fun being single but now she has a boyfriend for two months.

My first question was "good sex?" and she said yes. Funny question from a grandma but tough if anyone has a problem with that.

Dumb & Dumber - the governor edition

Yesterday from Vanity Fair;

Florida and Texas Are Competing to See Who Can Come Up With the Dumbest COVID Rules

While Joe Biden calls on elected officials to help fight the pandemic or “get out of the way,” Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott are outdoing one another to see who can make their state more virus-riddled.

By Eric Lutz
August 6, 2021

Earlier this week, President Joe Biden called on elected officials to help defeat the COVID-19 pandemic or “get out of the way.” Rather than heed his advice, the nation’s most irresponsible leaders have continued to do their thing, with states like Texas and Florida—which account for about a third of infections in the United States—seemingly competing to see who can come up with the most deranged approaches to the deadly virus.

Thanks to Ron DeSantis, the profoundly cynical and incorrigibly smug Florida governor, the Sunshine State had lead by a nose in this race to the bottom. DeSantis has mocked public health officials as caseloads skyrocketed, pursued an idiotic offensive against Biden, and enacted rules designed to prevent mask and vaccine requirements and to forbid municipalities from instituting their own COVID safety measures. “We think that’s the most fair way to do it,” DeSantis said last week, introducing an order making masks optional in schools.

But Texas, led by Greg Abbott, who has also banned local COVID ordinances, has come roaring back. On Thursday, the state released a new guidance that somehow makes DeSantis’s effort to block cruise ships from requiring vaccines seem smart: Under recommendations from the Texas Education Agency, schools do not need to conduct contract tracing and do not need to let parents know if a student has tested positive for the virus. If a student does come into contact with an infected person, a parent can still send them to school under the new guidance.

The moves by Florida and Texas, which come as other states are tightening precautions while the delta variant surges across the country, are perhaps best described as pro-COVID. Not only are they declining to push vaccinations, as other government and business officials are doing with increased urgency, the two governors are actively standing in the way of precautions to at least limit the spread of the virus, which they’ve cavalierly downplayed. “This is our COVID season,” DeSantis shrugged Thursday.

Their posturing—a calculated play to the coterie of anti-vaxxers, COVID deniers, and culture warriors who make up the MAGA base—poses a significant public health threat, and not just to the unfortunate residents of their respective states, who may not take much comfort in DeSantis’s explanation that it’s “COVID season” as their hospitals once again fill up. (Speaking of hospitals, DeSantis on Thursday came out against health care facilities requiring staff to be vaccinated: “It’s not something I support,” he said.) In nurturing conditions for the virus to spread, DeSantis and Abbott may be overseeing a breeding ground for potential new variants—ones that health officials fear could prove wilier than the delta mutation, which is more infectious than the original strain but still isn’t much of a match for vaccines. (Despite intense media coverage, breakthrough cases among the inoculated remain rare and are overwhelmingly mild or asymptomatic.)

“When you give it ample opportunity to mutate,” Dr. Anthony Fauci said Thursday, “you may sooner or later get another variant, and it is possible that that variant might be in some respects worse than the already very difficult variant we’re dealing with now.”

There have been at least two positive developments since the delta threat exploded in recent weeks.

ONE OF A NUMBER OF FACT CHECKS/BIAS ON "STATEOFTHENATION"

Overall, we rate State of the Nation (SOTN) extreme right biased and Questionable based on the promotion of propaganda, conspiracy theories, and pseudoscience as well as the use of poor sources, a complete lack of transparency, and false claims.
Detailed Report
Reasoning: Extreme Right, Propaganda, Conspiracy
Country: USA
World Press Freedom Rank: USA 45/180

History

Founded in 2012, State of the Nation (formerly State of the Nation 2012) is a propaganda and conspiracy website that focuses on right-wing politics. According to their about page, “SOTN has no other interest except uncovering and presenting the facts. SOTN commentary provides a uniquely insightful perspective rarely found anywhere else in the alternative news media.”

The website completely lacks transparency as it does not name authors, editors, or owners.

Read our profile on United States government and media.

Funded by / Ownership

State of the Nation lacks transparency as they do not disclose ownership and there does not appear to be a source of revenue.

Analysis / Bias

In review, State of the Nation does not write original content, but rather links to other news sources, videos, social media, etc. They also republish news from other sources. Story selection comes from a far-right perspective with many stories promoting conspiracy theories such as this Here’s the Raw Truth about the Covid-19 Vaccine. (Video). This is a video that features Anti-vaccination Dr. Simone Gold, who has made numerous false claims regarding the Coronavirus. She was also arrested for taking part in the Capitol riots on January 6th. When it comes to sourcing they frequently use far-right questionable sources such as Breitbart, Zero Hedge, and the Gateway Pundit.

Editorially, all stories favor the right and particular former President Trump such as this Palm Beach County Harassing Trump, Chasing Him Out of Mar-a-Lago. In general, SOTN is not a credible source of information as they routinely promote far-right conspiracies, propaganda, and pseudoscience.

17,503 DEAD, 1.7 Million Injured (50% SERIOUS) Reported in European Union’s Database of Adverse Drug

The European Union database of suspected drug reaction reports is EudraVigilance, which also tracks reports of injuries and deaths following the experimental COVID-19 “vaccines.”

A Health Impact News subscriber from Europe reminded us that this database maintained at EudraVigilance is only for countries in Europe who are part of the European Union (EU), which comprises 27 countries.

The total number of countries in Europe is much higher, almost twice as many, numbering around 50. (There are some differences of opinion as to which countries are technically part of Europe.)

Embedded image from another site

So as high as these numbers are, they do NOT reflect all of Europe. The actual number in Europe who are reported dead or injured due to COVID-19 shots would be much higher than what we are reporting here.

The EudraVigilance database reports that through July 3, 2021 there are 17,503 deaths and 1,687,527 injuries reported following injections of four experimental COVID-19 shots:

COVID-19 MRNA VACCINE MODERNA (CX-024414)
COVID-19 MRNA VACCINE PFIZER-BIONTECH
COVID-19 VACCINE ASTRAZENECA (CHADOX1 NCOV-19)
COVID-19 VACCINE JANSSEN (AD26.COV2.S)

From the total of injuries recorded, half of them (837,588 ) are serious injuries.

“Seriousness provides information on the suspected undesirable effect; it can be classified as ‘serious’ if it corresponds to a medical occurrence that results in death, is life-threatening, requires inpatient hospitalisation, results in another medically important condition, or prolongation of existing hospitalisation, results in persistent or significant disability or incapacity, or is a congenital anomaly/birth defect.”

As we reported yesterday, tens of thousands of people in the U.S. now regret getting the COVID-19 shots, and are begging for help, because the medical system has turned its back on them and refuses to treat their injuries.

See:

Tens of Thousands of COVID-19 “Vaccine” Injured in the U.S. Begging for Help as the Medical Community Turns Their Back on Them

It is exactly the same in Scotland and England.

My vaccinated friends are not getting appointments with their family doctors who are avoiding them post vaccination even although there are no patients in the GP surgery waiting rooms when they have tried to get appointments. It is utterly cruel given they talked them into getting the vaccinations and accepted 10 UK pounds from the Scottish and English governments per person vaccinated on their patient list and did not disclose the risk of these vaccinations to the patients.

A friend nearly passed out close to the GP surgery, a kind stranger wheeled her up to the GP surgery and she was not allowed to be seen by her GP because she did not have an appointment. The nurse refused to take bloods because they are not allowed to do so until management confirms they can do this so they cannot even do exploratory bloods to investigate what has gone wrong with these patients post vaccination.

Stopping the count...

Top story this morning states that Trump supporters have gathered around vote counting centers in Michigan and Arizona in an attempt to stop counting of mail-in votes.

This is beginning to read like the royal family in a third world country attempting to block democracy so they could remain in power.

"We've counted enough votes... I win!"
