Anyone here who lived though the 60-70s remember the junkers we drove. Rust? So what if one could change the drivers front tire through the floor boards. As long as the engine ran, the frame held together and it went forward and back...well..at least forward...we ran them into the ground. Bought them for $65 dollars and got 20 back for bringing the good tires back.
And tires..hmmm...what are those funny lines on new car tires? We invented slicks for street. So the re-cap is peeling..they dont re-cap bad tires so it will not blow. Maybe time to change tires, we are down to the third set of cords.
My ex told me the floor went on his Beetle and the front seat fell down. So at 6'3 he pulled the front seat out and drove from the rear seat. Bumpers fell off...ah just ornament anyway.
Which brings me to today. I own an 02 Chevy Impala with 115K on it. Owned it for years now. Brake line blew, replaced. Gas tank strap just gave and shop..( I do NOT work on anything newer than 79) said we have another issue. The coils on front are half an inch from puncturing the tires. So what can I do? Can I replace the car today for a grand. Yeah! Fat chance! So coil springs and struts.
Come home a couple months later, turn a corner and..???? Steering does not feel the same. So friend checks it out. Try a trick..hydro seafoam into depleted pump to clear a clog. Huh...that was not it. Blew the rest of the line. AAA back to the shop. They got the fitting out and did the line. There goes 600. Why is the ABS light on now. ARGH!
Fuse? Nope. Brake fluid? Nope. Friend gets under and says crawl under here and look at the A arms/control arms. Gee...can put fingers through the metal from the bottom. And the top. And the side!!
So gingerly drive the car back into the shop and hope I dont hit a bump. There goes another grand for two new A arms. Oh, by the way, your front brakes are almost metal to metal and lets do those for another 300+. So there goes another 1,060. And it is the sensor for the ABS so kiss that goodbye. The brakes are fine. Cant change sensor without the whole deal. I get anymore lights on the dash, I will be ready for Xmas lights. Check engine is always on due to the THIRD oxygen sensor that took a dump within months.
I need to patch a hole in the floor board or get more carpeting. And oil the rust here and there.
Bottom line? Interior perfect. Body is a 20 footer. Engine only 115K altho the one that likes to take out valves. So anyone able to sell me a car that good for 3,000 today?

The Republicans are quick to talk about the Biden administration but they have been hushed about 'anything negative about Trump' which is strange as he's been in the news several times a day. Whether it's been boxes of confidential White House documents found at Mar-a-Lago, including some that were torn and taped back together, reports of him flushing papers down the toilet at the White House, his accounting firm dropping him as a client, suspected misuse of campaign funds, over valuing and devaluing his properties to obtain loans or avoid taxes, They are all quiet.

Hush...

I have tried the best I can to get to know him and let him get to know me, but it doesn't work. It just does not. When he needed someone to caress him, I even personally asked a nice lady to be with him as long as he needed. The lady kept me informed about what they had together. Few days after he came back home, away from the lady, he and I were still in contact. Every time I called him, he still responded. I tried my best to talk to him.. to understand him more. But lately it seemed that he just wanted to be alone, doing whatever he loved doing before he met me. I know I am the most guilty one. I couldn't and still can't give him the caresses he needs the way the lady did. So I guess, he missed the lady more than he did me, and that's why he stopped responding to my calls. Yes, he has stopped meeting me.

Nothing I can do, but expect the best for him.

There's a lot going on in the world this week. Preparation for Queen Elizabeth's funeral, Florida's governor Ron DeSantis sending 2 planes with migrants to Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, My pillow guy Mike Lindell having his cellphone confiscated by the FBI.
Somewhere along the way, Trump was asked about a running-mate for 2024 and if his daughter would be considered. His reply was no.

Stories keep regurgitating about seized documents from Mar-a-Lago. We all know the story changes to fit the questions and somewhere along the way 'some' documents were returned... his lawyers took his word for it. This leads to a credibility issue and if said documents had actually been returned, a search wouldn't have been necessary... or as some like to say, Biden's weaponized police state would have searched and found nothing.

If his lawyers supported false claims, they become liable... sticky isn't it. At some point if a lawyer gets charged, he may rollover on Donald to avoid a risk of disbarment.

Already some of the Trump Organization top employees have pleaded guilty on tax fraud. If you recall Michael Cohen stated that Trump approved every decision in his companies, so only one person should be responsible to as they say in gangster movies 'take the heat'.

Regarding lawyers for all things Trump... If you don't get your money up front, there's a really good chance you'll be working for free. I was going to use the statement PRO BONO, that that refers to clients with a low income. Donald doesn't fall into that category.

So the question is: Who is Zelensky? Who is behind him? And how deeply have foreign intelligence services (including military) been embedded in Ukraine, and for how long?

The investigation into the Biden family is vitally important for one main reason; did President Biden receive money from his son Hunter and his brother Jim - money that came from China, Ukraine, Romania, and, perhaps, Russia? Money that was secretly sent through a variety of complicated "shell corporations" and which Hunter Biden has admitted he failed to declare on his tax returns. The amount of cash involved could be as high as $20 million.
If Joe Biden received any part of that hidden money, he would have to resign and could be charged with a variety of tax and conspiracy crimes.
That's it. The Hunter and Jim Biden business is bad but does not rise to national security levels.
Here's what we know to be true about this very troubling situation.
- If the Democrats had won the House in 2020, there would be no Congressional investigation into the Biden's. The entire party is deeply invested in protecting the President. Democrats have absolutely no interest in finding out if their leader used his power as then Vice-President to enrich himself and his family.
- At this point, there is no public evidence that Joe Biden benefited financially from his son and brother's grifting. No mention of any monetary gifts is on Biden's publicly released tax returns.
- Attorney General Merrick Garland has consistently helped the Bidens in the matter. First, by refusing to order two U.S. Attorneys, Matthew Graves in D.C. and Martin Estrada in California, to cooperate with U.S. Attorney David Weiss - the lead investigator In Delaware. Both Graves and Estrada, nominated by Biden, told Weiss they would not help him even though Weiss had evidence that Hunter received tainted money in their districts.
Merrick Garland could have forced Graves and Estrada to participate in the investigation. He did not. Extremely unusual.
In addition, it took five long years for Weiss to bring low-level charges against Hunter, to which he has pleaded guilty. Garland signed off on the light prosecution despite saying he wasn't involved - which is nonsense.
By the way, the Florida judge hearing the case, Maryellen Noreika, may reject the plea deal. This has the Justice Department on edge.
And there's more.
The wife of Washington DC U.S. Attorney Graves, Fatima Goss Graves, has visited the Biden White House 28 times, according to visitor records. That's extraordinary and an obvious conflict of interest that Merrick Garland apparently allows. Again, there are credible allegations that Hunter Biden secured overseas payments in the District of Columbia.
Ms. Graves is a far-left activist who runs the "National Women's Law Center." For this, she is paid more than $400,000 annually plus expenses.
Fatima Graves has donated money to Joe Biden, Stacey Abrams, and Mandela Barnes. She is powerful inside the Democratic Party. She has not been called to testify under oath before the Congressional Committees investigating the Biden's. Obviously, she should be.
Because her husband works closely with Attorney General Garland, there is suspicion she is acting as a conduit between the Justice Department and the White House in the Hunter matter. Her visits to Pennsylvania Avenue need to be clarified for the American public.
Finally, the corrupt corporate media in America is not engaged in finding out what happened here. Compare coverage of the Biden family story to the Trump investigations. The Justice Department and FBI devoted massive resources to uncovering alleged crimes centered on Donald Trump. The press enthusiastically reported every morsel.
Recently, President Biden sat for an interview with NBC News. The questioner was MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace.
She did not ask one question about the Hunter Biden investigation.

2: they are dealing with online investments and they need your money as sure investment. So you will be able to earn a lot of profit's.
3: I lost my parents and i live with my uncle/ granny..
4: "i am in love with you, and i need money to pay for my ticket.
5: " i am on a charity mission in Africa..
6: "I serve into the U.S. Army somewhere in middle east.
These are the main types of them. If you encounter one of those, then you can be sure that he/she is scammer. Stop all types of communication with them and don't give any personal details about you.

Are you better off now than you were four years ago? I'm certainly not, along with many other people.

TRUMP 2024.

We were born in the 40's-50's-60's.
We grew up in the 50-60-70's.
We studied in the 60-70-80's.
We were dating in the 60's-70-80-90's.
We got married and discovered the world in the 60-70-80-90's.
We venture into the 80-90.
We stabilized in the 2000s.
We got wiser in the 2010s.
And we are going firmly through and beyond 2020.

Turns out we've lived through EIGHT different decades...
TWO different centuries...
TWO different millennia...

We have gone from the telephone with an operator for long-distance calls to video calls to anywhere in the world,
We have gone from slides to YouTube, from vinyl records to online music, from handwritten letters to email and Whatsapp."
From live programs on the radio, to black and white TV, and then to HD TV.
We went to the Video store and now we watch Netflix.
We got to know the first computers, punch cards, diskettes and now we have gigabytes and megabytes in hand on our cell phones or IPad.

Yes, we've been through a lot but what a great life we've had!
They could describe us as “exennials”; people who have had an analog childhood and a digital adulthood.

We have “Seen-It-All”!
Our generation has literally lived through and witnessed more than any other in every dimension of life.
It is our generation that has literally adapted to “CHANGE”.
A big round of applause to all the members of a very special generation.

When you look...it's already six in the afternoon; when you look...it's already Friday; when one looks...the month is over,

When you look...we no longer know where our friends have gone.

Do not stop doing something you like due to lack of time.
Do not stop having someone by your side. Your children will soon not be yours and you will have to do something with that remaining time, where the only thing that we are going to miss will be the space that can only be enjoyed with the usual friends.

Today was a friends - lets call him Tony - birthday.
As a surprise and a special treat, his girlfriend decided to take him to a strip club.
At the club.
DOORMAN: Hey Tony! How are you?
GF: How does he know you?
Tony: We play Golf together!
BARTENDER: The usual beer Tony?
GF: And how the hell does he know you?
Tony: Oh, he's on the Bowling Team!
HOT STRIPPER: The special Lap Dance again, Tony?
The girlfriend storms out,,,,,,, dragging Tony with her, into a taxi...
TAXI DRIVER: Hey Tony,,, You picked an ugly one this time.... same hotel?
