Announcing my run for President.

Everyone else is..why not. First off, I will be running as an Independent. That way I can wish wash to Dem or Repub as needed. As far as fund raising, I will start a go fund me account that people can contribute to. I promise that everyone who sends more than $25 will receive a coupon good for one chicken because everyone deserves a chicken in every pot. No debates. No need. I know exactly what everyone wants and needs and I will post my agenda promising it all. Trust me.
I wont be doing rallies either. But, will show up anytime and anywhere someone offers me a free lunch.
To appeal to the soccer moms, I wont be paying for posters. Instead I invite all children to draw some for my campaign and put them up around their towns. I personally will view snap shots of them and pick one as my vice president. We need youth in Washington. I offer the wisdom of age and my VP will offer Oreos.
My foreign policy will be the Monroe Doctrine. As other nations have done, I will nationalize all foreign held businesses and corporations and appoint good American citizens to run them.
To ease the burden on the middle class and poor, I will eliminate all property and income taxes on anyone under $50,000 a year. I fully expect all landlords to reflect that gain in lowered rent fees.
The White House and Capital have a ton of rooms. Too much of them are wasted space. Therefore I will turn those rooms into bed and breakfasts and office space to rent. Those congressmen don't need private offices. They can gather in one of the large rooms in cubicles like normal office workers. I will order congress to return to the way legislatures were in the 1700s. Go get a job cause there will not be a salary for you anymore. It is a duty to serve the people and an honor. It is not a life time career eating off the cash cow of the working poor. You will work one month in summer and one in winter. Sitting around all the time on your butts just has you writing stupid bills to prove your working for your pay. The free cafeteria will be replaced by a Burger King. Pay for your meals like the working class has to. And you do not get a pension paid for by the workers. You go on Social Security and Medicare like everyone else. Lets see how you feel about them then.
I will slash welfare for everyone unless elderly or disabled. Baby mommies, you dump those 6 brats on granny to take care of now so you can go to the casino. Might as well go to a job instead. Or figure out who takes in those kids as their job so you all can go do others. As far as the baby daddies, that same system will work for you. Either work and pay or babysit those kids.
I am sure I will be a show in for President. I will promise and promise and promise. Don't mind the fact that I wear mittens in summer. That is so you can't see me cross my fingers.
Of course I am open to suggestions from my fans..I mean voters...Remember..free chickens.banana thumbs up cheering

‘We Must Sacrifice Billions Of Humans To Save Planet Earth’

Yes, according to democrat socialist John Kerry ‘We Must Sacrifice Billions Of Humans To Save Planet Earth’

Yes, we are the largest theeat to humanity!

According to Mr Kerry, ‘ Despite a vast array of empirical facts beyond any shadow of reasonable doubt, despite thousands of scientists’ lifetime work accumulating hard data, and without a single piece of peer-reviewed, documentation to the contrary, we are again witnessing another moment in which the persuasive force of evidence and with it, Earth’s future hangs in the balance.“

I find it hard to understand the violent verbal diarrhea from these liberals like Kerry these days. It is pure hate speech directed at the average Joe and Jill. Don’t be mislead. Unlike the voodo science wanting us to grow stomachs like birds have and eat bugs, there is real science out there.

I was kinda hoping...

I was kinda hoping the Republican party would come to their senses about pledging support for Trump. Billionaire Charles Koch has begun running anti-Trump ads. Media mogul Rupert Murdoch who defended Trump for the past six years, has viciously turned on Trump. Chris Christie has stated Trump is all about Trump and not about the American people. George Conway has been appearing on several news and talk shows predicting Trump's fall via the legal system.
These are all Republicans who didn't drink the Cool-Aid.

Who knows, if the documents case gets postponed until after the election, he could have a nice office in prison.

But, it's pretty.

Swedish death cleaning is hard. Going through dresser drawers. Hey, haven't seen this top for a long time. Going to wear it now. Weelll..noooo. But, I might! Now you know you can't stand that fabric/neckline/ body suit, etc anymore. BUT crying it's pretty. NO. In the BAG. So one by one. I did end up with a grocery bag full to pass on to tenants kids. And it is nice to see what I actually have. More so...actually be able to close the drawers without a shoehorn.thumbs up
I always was critical of the old women in apartments that shopped QVC, etc. And once a month, they would pull out their jewelry or clothes to admire and put back because they never went anywhere. And now..I am about that way. sigh...I heard tho that the return rate on those home shopping channels was over 60%!! I see that happening today with internet. Which is why Amazon and others are now charging for returns. I buy unclaimed mail and see it. 3 tops, small, medium and large. They pick one and return the rest. Or several garments and then send back most. I never order unless I have pondered and researched a ton and am positive I want it. And then figure I bought it, stuck with it.
It is hard to discard possessions. We spend our lives collecting stuff. Some stays because it always has been here. Some stuff is to be valuable in future and then no one in the future wants the stuff. We attach times and sentiments to stuff. They say take a pic and dump. But, how to toss in trash that shirt that dad always wore. It has his feel, his essence. Or those cards from people long gone.
We get used walking through a room and that piece of furniture has always sat there.
I did manage to get the Harley chopper of late husband out of my living room. I called his nephew and asked if he wanted to buy it for $2k. He jumped at it. Sentimental to him too. Thought I would really miss it. Funny. I dont notice it gone. Guess for so many years I had over looked it and didn't really SEE it anymore. Now I know it will be with someone who will value it. He said he will pass it onto his sisters boy who also carries the last name.
A tuber I watch says it is just stuff. Hard to believe though.moping

Stormy Wednesday...

I heard of a song Stormy Monday and I heard of an adult model Stormy Daniels, but today the New York courtroom Stormy Wednesday... or was that Stormy Donald?
Not a good day for Donald J. Trump as he was fined $10,000 for violating a gag order by speaking to reporters outside the courthouse.

After, Michael Cohen was on the stand and said Trump never directly instructed him to inflate the value of his assets. Trump's lawyers asked the judge to issue a direct verdict in Trump's favor on the grounds that their case had been proved. The judge denied the motion.
It was reported Trump threw up his hands, said "I'm leaving" and walked out of the courtroom.
Out side, he told reporters "The witness just admitted that we won the trial... and the judge should end this trial immediately.

That said, It won't surprise me if another fine for gag order violation is forthcoming.

TRUMPS TAX CUT TO A SMALL GROUP WAS ENOUGH TO WIPE OUT AMERICAN POVERTY!!

ProPublica investigation uncovers how much 82 ultrarich families gained by Trump’s 2017 tax cut
SHARE THIS -
COPIED
New reporting by ProPublica found that a specific tax break that found its way into President Trump's 2017 tax bill benefited only “82 families” per one of the reporters, Justin Elliott. That Republican tax bill gifted the wealthiest of corporations $233 billion in tax cuts, according to the Center for American Progress. $233 Billion in tax cuts to corporations. $69 Billion to lift low-income families above the poverty line. Those tax cuts to people and companies that didn’t need them could have solved American poverty. Says Elliott, “this part of the Trump tax bill was extremely tilted towards the richest people in the country.”

This isn’t as strange as I first thought.

I might be a bit strange, but I’ve always preferred the company of men, to that of women. Perhaps it’s because I grew up amongst 3 brothers and vacationed at the home of grandparents amongst my 4 uncles and their guy friends who lived next door, played with more boys than girls in my neighbourhood and at school and was a tomboy. All of the above seems plausible.laugh

Even when I had girls as classmates (I attended all-girl high schools, before going to a co-ed one to further my studies), I never fully understood their obsession with boys, gossip and sex, so there wasn’t much we could talk about. My interest in boys changed quite accidentally, when I was kissed by a boy who I had only met for a few hours blushing. He was the nephew of my then stepmother and had been vacationing at my father’s home when my (now deceased) brother and I visited. It was unexpected, but quite nice, and I had then found another reason to prefer the company of a ‘man’.winkgiggle

As I’ve gotten older, that hasn’t changed much. I do spend more time with women, yes, but I often find myself becoming involved in trivial discussions (e.g. house chores, children and gossip), whilst I sometimes yearn for the perspective of a man on other topics. I know that I can’t be the only woman who thinks this way, and the same is probably true of some men my age and older.

What do you think?hmmm

How will SA be affected if a nuclear war broke out in Europe?

This realistic, facts-based simulation is divided into 3 stages: Nuclear War, Nuclear Fallout and Nuclear Winter. Watch this video to find out what will happen to the world during each of those stages.

Whats more is,
South African internet speeds have suddenly dipped following a WACS (West African Cable System) and SAT-3 (South Atlantic 3) cable breakage.

The damage was first reported on Sunday evening when users started complaining about slow and sluggish internet speeds. Network status reports confirmed that on Sunday morning, the SAT-3 cable lost connectivity and the WACS followed soon after.

Further investigation on the breakage confirmed that the damage was caused by a rock fall in the Congo Canyon – a massive submarine canyon found off the coast of Congo. It is the largest undersea canyon in the world.

As a result of the breakage, a cable repair ship known as the Léon Thévenin was sent out to begin repairs. According to Marine Vessel Traffic, the ship is currently docked at Mombasa, Kenya and is currently listed as “restricted maneuverability”. (< no clue what that means)

Extra baggage

An airline passenger recently went to extreme lengths to avoid paying a fee for extra baggage - she wore many of the clothes she had packed to bring down her suitcase's weight, New York Post reported. However, the viral travel hack adopted by many didn't work for her, as she ended up getting a fine from the airline.
Notably, 19-year-old Adriana Ocampo was traveling with airline Jetstar from Melbourne to her home in Adelaide, Australia, after a girls' trip with her friend. After realising her carry-on luggage exceeded the maximum weight limit of seven kilos, she put on all of her extra clothes to avoid the excess baggage fee. Her friend also followed suit, as her case was also over the limit. She piled on almost six kilos of clothing including t-shirts, jackets, jumpers, and trousers. Speaking to South West News Service, Ms. Ocampo said that she ''looked like a bear'' while trying to pull off the stunt. The only way take the weight off their bags is if they put it on , so they started putting on our jackets and coats. As well as layers of jackets and jumpers. One woman had about six layers on and stuff in her pockets”.
''Everyone in line was staring at them and laughing , it was kind of embarrassing. People were annoyed that they were holding the plane up”.
However, their luggage was still more than 1kg over the limit, even with best efforts. The airline told them they had to pay the $65 fine. What's more, she then had to wear all the clothes on the plane as well.
In a statement to The Independent, a Jetstar spokesperson said, ''While we certainly see the funny side, we have limits to carry-on to make it fair for everyone. Keeping track of how much baggage passengers bring onboard means everyone has room for their belongings and we're meeting our safety requirements.''
In a similar incident in 2019, a Filipino airline passenger wore about 2.5 kilograms of clothes to bring down her bag's weight to only 6.5 kg. She also posted a hilarious photo on Facebook which showed her wearing around five pairs of pants and multiple T-shirts and jackets.
