A LOVE SONG FOR THE BROKEN HEARTED, IN HOPES THEY CAN FIND A LOVE TO WALK HAND IN HAND THROUGH ETERNITY!
For that millisecond Between inspiration and expiration Between past and future Between unknowing and knowing Universes formed and dissolved Empires rose and fell Weight waited Matter mattered and mattered not And I was peace itse
Just wanted to acknowledge the negative vibration that is affecting people at this period of time in life...and not to give up...
If I cannot praise you then Have I not become an Empty shell? Who am I without whom I must love? I find my purpose Within you Where I discover me No talent will put me Above you No lowliness will put You beneath me I find love not in me,
Poetry like art......the painted kind, we have to decide what we like or dislike.... it's a personal journey......towards personal enjoyment....
A reflection that wealth is not what is in the pocket, but what's in the heart
Free your mind from everyday shackles they will only hold you bound in chains forget all the things you have been taught like there are no fairies, no unicorns Try to remember instead the wonders of what you accepted as fact in childhood let

The road is long The road is lumpy The road has twists and turns It has rises and burms The road has mountains and hills It can be boring or have thrills The road can be slipery and frozen It can be dangerous for those chosen The road i

Written after visiting a soup kitchen yesterday..
still not the drums from distant hedge they call to us of prose and pen and gather we as twilight sighs no longer but words but face meeting eyes and strip from your flesh your veils of cloth and naked stand your passions sought fe
In response to the challenge posed several weeks ago. This poem written by a modern Georgian poetess popped up in a recently published almanac. It was such a perfect fit to the challenge that I couldn’t resist temptation to translate it for this occasion. The lady poetess did what I was supposed to do – she did my thinking while I tried my best to translate her poem as close to the original as I could.
The saying, "every man for himself" came to mind. A selfish man thinking only about what's best for him realizes that in life u have to give to get, sow to reap! Thanks for reading!
I know this is a different type of write from me..I've had this contemporary type semi-autobiographical idea for this poem for some time..Inspired by Tom Wolfe's 1976 term of the 1970's being the "me decade." In order for Americans to relate to each other was to have a so called national therapy group..It seemed like everyone had a guru, priest, spiritual adviser or prophet...
how a disabled boy asks his father if the kids in the park would let him play.......at his father's request this is what happened........a chance to win by the fielding side.......but sacrificed to watch joyous pride...........the child passed away the next winter.........i often wonder about the future of this world and am constantly reminded that is in good hands ........

Thoughts on Christ's birth.
Sometimes poetry can become such an invitation for reflection such as this abstract form of poetry answering a question or perhaps asking a few more?
I hope one day humanity will be able to reach an understanding of true beauty .....

Sometimes we forget that today is important as we worry about the past and the future.
Sometimes only the quiet solitide of a walk in nature will heal a troubled mind.
its all about the simple things in life...we take them for granted too much too often:( i dont think its our fault, we just get caught up in the craziness of it all.
On the dock he sits The hour is early Steam off his coffee Lake hosts scattered mist. Gentle peace settles in His mind places too Years that have gone To where he is now. Harbour lights in fade Four seasons a year Some hosting smile Ot

This is poetic rendering of an article from Washington post, which impressed me very much. You may have not read it, so this here poem may draw your attention to the problems, of which we are the culprits mostly through indifference, callousness, lack of faith (The Washington Post, "I have seen the problem, and it is us" By Tom Ehrich| Religion News Service, Published: November 21). All the long time I’ve been away I’ve followed, dear poets, your progress on this site with admiration. Thank you!
In respect to Marika's poem....I have seen the problem and it is us This is my take ...a sudden urge to spill my beans and heart out..
A lil take on the old, 'I think, therefore I am thing'..
:") I loved 'Your knight in shining armour' by Mr. Fellsman so I wrote this one. ^__^ And I always think we should be our (own) knight, we should be strong. ^__^ Cheers! Ref: "Your knight in shining armour" by Fellsman If your aching heart's been broken I can fix it all for free If your dreams have all been shattered Just leave everything to me. If your friend or wayward lover Has abandoned you, my dear I will help you to recover That I promise without fear. If life's left you bruised and battered I will be your soothing balm Taking care of all your problems And I'll see you take no harm. Should ill fortune come your way That dragon I shall slay Or if you're simply feeling low I'll chase your blues away What e'er it is that troubles you I'll send you soothing Karma You may be sure I'll always be Your knight in shining armour.
