4 Signs Youre Dating a Spoiled Man

Dating a spoiled man isn't much fun to say the least. In fact it becomes pretty exhausting really fast. It isn't long before you end up feeling more like his mother than his girlfriend. Here are 4 signs that you are dating a spoiled man.

1. He's willing to stand back and let you do the work

Whether you're fixing something to eat or out doing a shop for a mutual friend's birthday, your guy always seems to be able to stand back and let you do the work. He doesn't offer to help even when you're obviously rushing around to get everything complete. The next time your spoiled man tries to get out of doing something, give him a job. "You make the coffee while I fix the sandwiches." He probably won't make the coffee that first time. He'll assume that you're actually going to do it. Don't. When he asks where the coffee is, remind him (without anger) that you asked him to make the coffee. Eventually he will get the point. If he never does or if he throws a fit, you know what you have to do.

2. He will make you feel guilty

A spoiled man has no trouble making you feel guilty for not doing what he wants you to do. He'll question your love for him. He'll act sad and betrayed, even if all he wants you to do is bring him a snack. It all seems very ridiculous, but a guilt trip seems to have power over people. That fact that he calls you mean, will make you want to do his bidding to prove you are not mean. Unfortunately, that will only make him feel more powerful and use guilt trips more often.

3. He won't make decisions

A spoiled man appears to want to do things, but refuses to make a decision. He leaves all of that up to you. All day long you'll be peppered with questions about what's for dinner, where you'll be going on the weekend, what you should watch on TV that evening. The questions never end and he never has any ideas or suggestions. If you don't have answers, the spoiled man will act shocked, as though he's surprised that you haven't been thinking about them already. He may even question you about why you don't know yet. The next time you guy asks you something, tell him (in an excited way) that it's his turn to decide and you can't wait to hear what he comes up with. If he comes up with nothing, oh well. The worst thing you can do is continue to make decisions all by yourself. The pressure is too much. We're all leading busy lives and no one person gets to sit back and have everything decided for them.

4. His problems are monumental, your's are miniscule

No matter what either of you may be dealing with, a spoiled man's problems are always bigger. His problems, though in reality are minor, are greatly exaggerated. A small headache is made out to be a life and death situation, but when you suggest taking pain medication or seeing the doctor, the ideas are blown off. When he has the sniffles, it's bed for a week. If you have the sniffles, you are expected to go about life as normal and not complain. Even if you're dealing with the exact same situation such as a rainy day where you can't go out, somehow it's far worse for him than for you. He'll make sure you're aware of that fact every single time.

Dating a spoiled man is not fun. In the end it turns out to be more like a job that you don't enjoy. Remember that you're not stuck. You don't have to put up with anything you don't want to. If your spoiled man won't smarten up, you're free to get out.
